It's not like we would actually have sex or anything, or that I would covet her body.
But it does sound a little bit fishy. Can you tell me the Bible verse that makes this a sin? If there is none, I may proceed.

as long as all parties are in agreemant on it, then go ahead. the bible was written for people 1000's of years ago. what does that have to do with us now? in the bible days they did not know about fertillization in that way. all they knew was intercourse would produce children. medical technology is so far advanced since then, that the bible could not answer this question. i see no wrong in it. it's beautiful that you want children. God tells us to mulitply. so go for it!

I do remember a story in the bible where a wife gave her maid to her husband for the purpose of haveing a child because she was barren.... of course that was the old testament too... i havent seen anything in the new testament... I think as long as there is no sex involved then it would be okay..

the bible does state that if the husband does not get jelious, then the wife may lay with another man to get pregnant. i cant give you the exact verse but it is in Numbers.
