Iam a lesbian and Iam the one that kinda dresses like a guy but I still maintain to be really femmi. You would think that I'd be the aggresive one but Iam mostly not...I only am if I have to be. But my gf wants me to be more aggresive with her and less passive but she is REALLY aggresive with me and she doesn't really give me much of a chance to do stuff to her...She just pins me down somewhere and has her way. I don't get it. If I try talking to her then she'll stop everything and Im a shy person and Iam not used to making all the first moves on her. She's sooo aggresive and I actually love it but I want to make her happy too...What should I do???

Notice the word: ANOTHER?

John 14:16
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

if the comforter is the holyspirit as John has claimed, then why would Jesus call the holyspirit with another?
another means = another one.

Abraham used to pray like a muslim?
when muslims fell down on their faces while praying, that's how you should pray to God. as Abraham the father of all the prophets, he did the same thing.

Genesis
17:3 And Abraham fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying,

why don't you pray like Abraham?

This question stems from a very "heated" conversation I had with an older white woman that claimed to be "Christ led and Bible fed." Yet, she was very much against the co-existance of Blacks and Whites and likewise. In here eyes, "people of different color were never ment to live together or marry. Much like the Birds don't live with Cats and so on." In all honesty she got quite upset when I countered with " We are all the same according to the Bible." Genesis 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. (King James) If this is the truth you belive, then why have such "hatered" towards persons of other race? She was speechless. Is there anyone that can answer for her?

If, according to the Bible, we all are decendants of Adam and Eve, then why is the co-existance of race so wrong? Why can a Black man not marry a white woman? Why can't an Asian woman comfortably date a white man? Why, if we are the same do so many HATE?

I mean, if you didn't exist, you wouldn't even know that you didn't exist, so there's no way you could have any problem with it.

Don't you wish God just spared you the likelihood of damnation all together, and have you not even know it?

At best, when I ask people what's so great about Heaven, they say something like, "You can't get sick". etc., etc. Not exactly anything pleasurable. Yet a major reason to want heaven is to avoid the sufferings of hell.

Seems like those in the most bliss are the ones who will never know it, because they do not exist.

Doesn't all of this support Buddha's 1st precept: Life is suffering?

Agnostic here, not trying to change anyone's religion.

Assumption: that the regulars here have figured out what religious preference the other regulars are on here.
Assumption 2: You saw the question I asked about Islam, and terrorism, and poverty.

Question: Do you find it interesting, that most of the non-religious agreed that the root cause of Islamic terrorism, is poverty; while most (not all) if the regulars who are religious, disagreed. Why do you think that is, that the prism of how we view the world is so different.

It seems the rift between religious and non-religious, in terms of the rift of their world view, is so huge, that its not the same at all.

Where do you think that comes from?

Sometimes i think that the existence of a spiritual dimension of existence could be explained best to me when i'll experience myself like some sort of mind-boggling magical phenomena (not tricks such as David Copperfield's or Blaine's because i know that these are merely tricks and illusions played on us since i watched the MASKED MAGICIAN revealing the secret code!) but i'm talking about real sorcery/witch stuff: rituals in order to see demons (the sacred magic of Abramelin the Mage), invocations etc. If i myself experience this (not some testimony from someone else although that could help a lot too) then i'd know for sure that if there are dark powers, there should also be powers of light. Can someone suggest how i could experience such mystery in order to believe in God because i'm so confused right now because i'm a bit critical about it all given that i rely very much on Science (Physics) and Maths.

I've never really paid attention to it, but I was sitting out in front of a friends apartment and there were about 6 Mexicans sitting out side. 5 of the 6 had the little mustache. One didn't, he looked younger and had his hair fixed and was wearing nice clothes. I think the others work in construction, but a couple of them were probably about the same age as the clean cut guy, and the others were more middle aged looking. Since then I've paid more attention to it, and it seems 9 out of 10 elect to keep their mustache. Is there a reason for it, or is it just a popular look?

I've just read a question where several answerers referred to the Holy Spirit as a 'voice that tells you what to do and what not to do'.

I have that voice. It's the voice of reason within my head drawing on my past experiences, my education, my logic and my ability to predict. I'd like to think it's never failed me before.

Yet Christians will tell me that I don't have the Holy Spirit within me.

Do I?

I've noticed that Muslims tend to write the longest answers on YA. And by long, I mean, too f&%king long! Is there something in the Koran that says "Thou shalt write answers that are so long, even Job would fall asleep before reading them... Inshallah.."

Seriously, do ya'll really think people are going to read your 10,000 word cut and paste thesis, posted to answer, "Y R Joos so stinky?"

Rev 22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
Rev 22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
This is the pure truth. I would repent from the lies you have believed. The Quran is not of God. It will not help you to get any where near Heaven.
Joh 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
I say all this out of love. As I would rather see you in Heaven than in Hell. Peace

As salt resolved in the ocean
I was swallowed in God's sea,
Past faith, past unbelieving,
Past doubt, past certainty.

Suddenly in my bosom
A star shone clear and bright;
All the suns of heaven
Vanished in that star's light.

According to the narrative in Genesis Chapter 11 of the Bible, the Tower of Babel was a tower built by a united humanity to reach the heavens. Because man had it in his heart to be like God, God stopped this project by confusing their languages so that each spoke a different language. As a result, they could no longer communicate with one another and the work was halted. The builders were then scattered to different parts of Earth. This story is used to explain the existence of many different languages and races.

If you are a Bible beliver then this would most likely be your reason for the difference in language, however, if you are not a "beliver" then what reason do you give for the multiple languages. And what about race? (See my next question to give your opinion.)
