I am about to embark on a fund raising exercise to raise funds for a local hospice. I intend to walk from Lands End to John O Groats (UK) - which is I believe somewhere between 800 - 900 miles.

I intend to walk the entire distance during my summer break from teaching. If I cannot make the whole distance I will go as far as I can in the time.

I intend to walk BAREFOOT.

If anyone has ever done something similar can you suggest or advise a daily distance walking plan?

Do you believe we are headed towards a totalitarian takeover / dictatorship? With all this centralisation of power.

Are we pawns in this game called 'Problem Reaction Solution'? By this I mean a 'problem' is caused purposefully (eg bombing of twin towers), creating a mass reaction from the people (catch and stop these Monsters!), which gives governments / authorities the chance to come in with their 'solution'. (eg removal of certain freedoms).

The way i see it, everything is being 'westernised'and televised. We are fed rubbish via news and media as well as the food we eat.
Governments dont seem to care what the people really think and need, claiming they are acting on the behalf of the peolpe! When they clearly are not.

Your opinions would be greatly apprieciated. And if you know of any good websites where i could read more about this.

Ok, following on from the other question posted about chat rooms.. Where is a good place to actually meet to chat? Where do all the lesbians / women go for a natter?

Ok. So Ive just sort of been going back and forth about this. And I mostly just want good advice in it.

I just feel like my life is going nowhere. Nowhere that I want it to anyway. Its like I can pretend that it gets better, or more like get my hopes up when it does for a while. But Im just going in circles. So how should I look at it. Is this just how God wants it for me right now. Like is there some other reason it sucks. Or is it me. Am I the one who needs to take action!?? I guess if you are more religious I would rather here from your point of view. But what do you think!?? Is it up to God or me!??
