Ok. So Ive just sort of been going back and forth about this. And I mostly just want good advice in it.

I just feel like my life is going nowhere. Nowhere that I want it to anyway. Its like I can pretend that it gets better, or more like get my hopes up when it does for a while. But Im just going in circles. So how should I look at it. Is this just how God wants it for me right now. Like is there some other reason it sucks. Or is it me. Am I the one who needs to take action!?? I guess if you are more religious I would rather here from your point of view. But what do you think!?? Is it up to God or me!??

Your life may actually be going somewhere but you are not noticing. At any time in life, we are heading in a particular direction.
Also, if your life has been more ruled by "religion", then God may be signalling that is time to get in to a real relationship with Him. Christianity is not just some do's and don'ts. It is about relationships, between you and God and between you and other people.
I suggest you re-evaluate your life, have you focused more on doing religious acts than on developing relationship with God. (Not that they are not good, but relationship with God takes priority). Also develop and keep good relationships with your fellow man, 'The best use of life is love, the best expression of love is time[spending time with others], and the best time to love is now.'
God says if you draw closer to me, I will draw closer to you. This is a trying time for u (trust me, I know) but I pray that God sees you through and you come out a better person than you went in.

I would also recommend read "The Purpose-Driven Life" by Rick Warren.
God bless you!!

I don't think you should think about your problem in terms of your relationship with God, because I don't think it will help you, no matter how religious you are. It is clear that you're not happy with your lifestyle right now, but you don't know how you should or can change it. You may think it's all about luck or believing in God, but those are things you cannot control. You CAN, however, control your perception of life by living in the way that would be best for you. Think about the last time you thought your life was going in a positive direction. What were you doing that you aren't doing now? Go back to those things. For instance, if you were leaving the house more often, being more social, more athletic, had a different type of job which you enjoyed, etc. etc. go back to those things gradually. Take things one day at a time.

Good luck! :)

I believe God works all things for good in your life. It may seem like your at a standstill or even going backwards. But you will see where God is trying to take you, if you allow Him to. Sometimes we have a hard time in letting God have control over or lives, we are so use to trying to ourselves. We say here I am God and do this and that and yet when we make decisions we don't pray about it first. I had a hard time to and sometimes fall back into that old pattern of taking control and then I see where I messed up compaired to if I had just taken the problem and handed over to God. What I do with a problem is that I actually visualize myself taking it to the cross and laying it down and say here it is God please take this . And I don't worry anymore about it because I know God has it then and it always comes out better . It says to fear nothing and pray about everything. God bless you always.

Depends on how old you are....Under 18? Then quit your whining and go clean your room. Everything you have so far is because of someone elses efforts!

Over 18? Well by now...you should have a pretty good idea of what you want to do with your life and start working towards it.
Good grades in high school and college will go along way towards success in this part.

Over 25 and your still whining?? looking for God to show you the way?? Shut up...and go clean your room!

It is definitely God working in your life right now. He is calling you back to Him. God does this with everyone throughout their life, but some people just don't see what He is doing. I went through a suicide attempt before I realized that God wanted me to go back to Him. Understand that God loves you and the crap that you are going through right now will get better. You've obviously heard His call if you are asking this question. Look for a church in your town and talk to the pastor. Good luck on your search...and I'll pray for you,

It is odd that you should ask that today, because I felt strongly after mass today that it is nice to belong to a Christian community, to meet people to greet people and to chat with people. I think that is a large part of what 'church' is.
I am not a very religious person, but I am prepared to take ACTION and by attending mass regularly at the same church and the same time, and being prepared to say 'Good morning.' to people that I do not know, both before and after mass, I have got to know a lot of other people and have joined one of the organisations. I think this helps me to be a little bit religious, but more important, I think it is the sort of thing that Jesus wants.
In short, it is definitely up to you.

You have not defined your problem. God's Grace is a must for anything to happen. But action is yours only. God always wishes good things for you but in his own time. Get hold of yourself.Take a piece of paper and pen. Put down and analyze your problem and chart a course of action in a cool and rational way. Take the help of your friend or benefactor if you so desire.

First of all, life doesn't suck.
I mean, 80% of the world's population is probably in a worst situation.

Therefore, being in the top 20%, you should make something of your life.

And even if you were in a dire situation, you have in your hands to do something about it. It all will-power. And if God really wanted it to be bad, why are you given the opportunity to read these answers?

I think that God gives us free will. It is up to you to utilize the talents that God gave you...but he will help you along the way. There is something you are good at, you just haven't found it yet. Are you in school? Take some different courses to see what interests you..what could you see yourself doing for the rest of your working years? Talk to someone you trust about this kind of stuff...God has a plan for you, but I think he helps those who try...helping those who help themselves, so to speak. Good luck!

Both - whatever will be will be.

If you decide right now to be more purposeful, to grab the nettle, then it is up to you. But it is up to God also, since He has given you the inspiration to do something about it.

If you don't, it is up to God as well.

Whatever you do now has already been previously decided. If you change your mind, you were supposed to!

Weird, huh?

Decide what you want, get it. Oh and cheer up! Religion won't help here, faith in yourself and some get up and go is what you need.
