If one of these countries were to become the next additional state of the US, what would you choose and why?: Mexico, Philippines, Taiwan, Jamaica, Malaysia, or Thailand

Mexico. It would stop illegal immigration by giving us a much smaller border in central america to control.We could plunder the oil reserves.

Taiwan belongs to the Chinese, no good for us.

Phillipines, might as well be American already.

Jamaica, no economic value outside of rum.

Malaysia, too much of an economic drain.

Thailand, a beautiful country, wonderful people but an aids epidemic only surprassed by the continent of Africa.

Mexico. We are already neighbors, and about 1/4 of the U.S. used to belong to Mexico anyway. This would be advantageous for both countries, as otherwise, I fear neither Mexico nor any Central or South American country will ever overthrow their centuries-old systems of corruption.

I would choose Mexico just because it's next door.
