You clearly are deeply insightful into the innermost and subtle workings of the human mind. This must be inspiration direct from God, untainted by any rational thought processes of your own..

they are bored, the best ones are the ones that pose as real "over the top fundamentalist" and just to get every body stirred up. The likely post on the side to each other to plan strategies. Don't let them get your goat, or they will drive it out into the wilderness! The really crazy part of it all is how well versed in religion so many of them are, some of those suckers have really read the bible and studied religion very intently, you can tell by the questions they ask and the answers they give. Even when they are being taunting they tend to structure their points better than most theology students do

"Why are ther always athiests posting questions in religion and spirituality?"

Well I think one of the most obvious answers to that question is to LEARN!

"Is it because they secretly want to believe in something and have someone tell them about religion?"

I suppose that could be true for some atheists but it's definitely not true for all.

No, i want them to end mocking our faith. in the event that they do no longer want to hearken to from Christians, superb with me. I resent seeing all the blasphemous dirt those mockers arise with! it is like they have filthy minds and that they say the main vulgar issues! There are some atheists that are respectful. I genuinely have no longer something against you despite if i do no longer consider you. a minimum of a few have shown they are human and are good. maximum are the main vile and undesirable group of people I genuinely have ever encountered. i do no longer see how the moderators do no longer capture this and placed a end to such disrespect. I could desire to admit there are some Christians who do the comparable. no longer as many, yet some. It makes me very disillusioned that they can't ask a valid question without some vile remark or mocking. i do no longer want everyone to lose the main appropriate to publish respectful questions. in spite of the shown fact that, i do no longer think of this communicate board could want for use to disrespect everyone.

If you knew some interesting fact of science that most of the people around you didn't know, wouldn't you want to post it? Sure! Lots of people have the secret desire to teach, to pass on information.

The atheists are trying to show you that your religious beliefs are incorrect. They're trying to educate you, and, at the same time, they know that you have a substantial emotional investment in your religion that will make you resist the education.

So they persist, and they become creative in finding new ways to pose questions to you that will make you think instead of vapidly believing dogma.

They are trying to preach their views and then accuse believers of the same thing. It's just more evidence of the on going battle between good and evil but atheists are determined to pretend the battle doesn't exist. Atheists want us to doubt our beliefs as much as we want them to doubt theirs. The only difference is that believers think the world is something special and magical where atheists think this incredible place we live is nothing but a big accident.

for the same reason that as a christian, i post questions about the atheist point of view on a couple of "their" websites.

i seek to learn and their answers stimulate that process by forcing me to investigate a subject with logic, not just blind faith.

in many cases the atheist will seek to FLAME the wirter and those who answer by saying "there is no God", "you are all idiots", etc, ect.

and then there are those who are in a dilema that cannot be explained to them in strictly secular methods. their investigation brings them to the religious members of the site, who may be able to better answer question.

dont just preach at non believers and berate them, cause we could be wrong, but rather stimulate their learning by posing questions and statements that identify your belief, and impress upon them to retain an open mind when investigating.

i am colour blind and cannot see some colours, but i believe they exist, even though I cannot prove it to myself, with my own investigations. i have to have faith that it is not a world conspiracy against me, and that fucia really exists.

It's the exact same reason why homophobes post in the LGBT area: because they can. I highly doubt those people would like to be with someone of their own sex. Just because a category is sectioned off does not mean you have to follow the qualifications in order to post in it.

Why are there (that's how you spell it) always christians posting questions in the gay and lesbian section? Is it because they are are secretly gay and want to have someone explain what is really going on for them?

I think some are so annoyed at what seems to be the majority of people on this planet all believing in some fairy tale. So they like to poke holes in this fairy tale as if to say, 'grow up and get a bit of reality in your head'. Just a guess.
