In the world of Star Trek, the Planet Earth has managed to overcome most global differences and refocus their governments, religions, and societal norms on a similar paths. Together this allowed for the the planet to pool significanlty greater resources, eliminate waste and redundacy and give individuals the freedom to pursue greater self-development resulting in more significant participation in society and overall personal satisfaction.

Whats first steps do you think we would need to take to begin mapping a path towards this global village? What personal ideals would you be willing to sacrifice for the greater good?

So, we have God the father, God the son and God the holy ghost. All the 1 person right? Now mary was made pregnant by the holy ghost ( the father and the son) and she gave birth to the son ( the father and the ghost). So, Jesus was his own father and Mary was knocked up by her unborn son? Have I got that right? Must be fun at Xmas dinner at their house.

What if the BTK killer was never caught but on his death bed repented? Are we STILL to say that we are no better or worse a person than he is? Then why DO we even have laws at all?
Shouldn't the real laws be : do whatever you want, kill, whatever, because acts don't matter. and then arrest and burn everyone who "denies Jesus" at the stake? why not?

I posted this question yesterday but I'm so SICK of not finding a job that I had to post it again.

I graduated 3 years ago with a B.S. (no kidding haha, it's bulls***) in Industrial Management and I cannot find a job.

I've even applied at being an assistant manager at Applebee's and they turned me down!

COLLEGE IS WORTHLESS.

Everyone wants EXPERIENCE.

From now on, I'm telling every kid I see, to work right out of high school and to just work their way up in whatever they choose to do. I have friends who did that and are making 40K a year and I'm UNEMPLOYED! I wasted $30,000, all to find out that I need to start at the bottom to get anywhere!

COLLEGE IS WORTHLESS!!!

It's seriously meaningless to have a degree nowadays.

It's almost as if going to college is now viewed as a way to coast for four years. It's true because college is a JOKE now, and it's so easy to graduate. High schools are LYING by saying college is needed.

It seems that younger and younger girls (and boys) seem to be sexually curious. I see very many posts on here by 14 and even 12 year old children asking questions about sex! Do they not realize that they are far too young to be worrying about these things? I understand that they see this in the media and society but where are the parents? Shouldn't their parents be explaining sex to them and explaining that it is a major physical and emotional decision that should not be taken lightly and should not be done at such a young age? I want to understand what is happening to our youth. Perhaps someone can tell me what the fascination with sex is with kids these days.

Say for example, why would born again Christians say that they are no better a person than say a child rapist and a murderer if they "repented"?
And if all sin is the same in God's eyes, then
What Should Be the Motivation for all us sinners not going out raping and killing, why don't we? And does that also suggest that one who never gets caught for commiting acts of savagry but later "repents" really never gets any punishment for their actions? My mother and I never got along; it got worse as I got older. She was a poor mother to my younger sisters, and neglected them. She allowed them to be abused. She was dependent on Seconal.

In her old age, I took care of her in my house, but I could hardly stand her; I don't think she much liked me, either.

Here's the question: I don't feel guilty for feeling relief that she has passed away, but many have expressed shock, even outrage, that I never shed one tear for her. Should I pretend to be sad? Or, what?

I think you'll find that most homosexuals _are_ aware that heterosexual sex is required for the perpetuation of humanity. They might even have noticed that they themselves are the result of a heterosexual union (after all, there appears to be only one excepton to that rule...).

Does this bumper-sticker-style sentence suggest that we should live our lives like Adam and Eve did? After all, doesn't all sin come from them and aren't they the reason we were banished from the Garden and condemned to die?
