as in, why do rites and rituals have more importance than true spiritual growth and happiness? why do people think that their own religion is the only way to get there and others are wrong?

Would you ever date a person who has some sort of a disability? Would you ever consider spending the rest of your life with a disabled person?

What I mainly want to know is whether you let people's disabilities get in the way of a possible relationship? If yes, why?

Also, does it depend on the type of the disability?

Honest answers will be appreciated.

I'm finding it really hard to come across a plain and simple 'non-run-around' answer. I know from readings that Satan rebelled because he thought he should be loved (or something along those lines...?) but I can't find any reference in the bible of this reasoning. Any help???

Its true! Christians say that only Christians go to Heaven, Muslims say only Muslims go there. Catholics, Jews, etc etc say the same.

Why? I believe God loves all of us regardless of religion and its not about which faith you belong to, but rather the condition of your heart and how you live your life. So why do people insist on believing God cares only about people of their own religion?

Sometimes, when I like some really hot young beautifull man celebrity (this time is Cristiano Ronaldo), which is definattely straight, I am imagining him having sex with older man (older, I mean 10-15 years older than the guy) and I get sexual excitment greater then if I am imagining having sex with this man. Is this too wierd(I am bisexual woman)? Do someone else do ti?

I do voluntary work for a homeless shelter and also go out at night to feed the homeless. About 8 months ago this guy, Chris about 30 appeared one night and offered to help. We had a client, Tony who was very close to death from AIDS. Chris spent hours praying beside him and said he would recover and he did. He also quieted down a violently schizophrenic man who had been shouting for hours by just touching him. Another night we went out delivering food to homeless haunts. Demand was heavy and we ran out. Chris prayed and then the containers were filled with very high quality food. These are only a few examples of a great number of unexplanable events that happened when he was around. Chris was strange his eyes seemed to go on for ever internally. He seemed not to know much about the world or modern life yet was obviously intelligent. He usually would not answer questions but one time I asked what he was doing and he said it was time he returned. Can You explain this.

Simon,
In relation to my previous question regarding a "civil war" and "race" wars int the UK you say because of people like me.
I like yourself are an
"English born Caucasian who travels extensively" my travels have too taken me to Hong Kong, Eastern Europe, the States. However I, unlike yourself perhaps, are of the younger genration (19) and the prospect of a race war, from my point of view is more iminant than you may believe. My area is very near a black society, black people tend to agree with me on the subject. Imigration in this country is a problem, and the fact is "they" bring "their" problems with them to our country. I am by no means an extremeist i am not saying we protest the streets and hang people. However take for example the recent terror attacks on our capital. When two Muslims were charged and confronted they protested in the streets. And you yourself say "people like me" i suggest you read your comment about Texas.

Cant wait to hear from you.
Mitchell.

Every one now seems to know that Bible was edited through out the ages, some areas were either deleted, changed, or something is added to it.

But Is God's Words Supposed to be changed in order to certify youselves? Since God knows better than we know, because He is the One that Create our Brains, and knows the extent we can think. And another Question, Where is the real, non edited, non changed bible?

The creator wanted us to call on him by name, he was very specific about that. Why is it not in his book correctly? From what I understand it was something done by his own people.!? Why doo so many people go on calling him by a title, a title that belongs to someone else?

O.k peopl I had time to do a thirty minute research and found that even scientist dont agree with evolution

www.Karl Popper: On the Scientific Status of Darwin's theory of Evolution.com

"When speaking here of Darwinism, I shall speak always of today's theory--that is Darwin's own theory of natural selection supported by the Mendelian theory of heredity, by the theory of the mutation and recombination of genes in a gene pool, and the decoded genetic code. This is an immensely impressive and powerful theory. The claim that it completely explains evolution is of course a bold claim, and very far from being established. All scientific theories are conjectures, even those that have successfully passed many and varied tests. The Mendelian underpinning of modern Darwinism has been well tested, and so has the theory of evolution which says that all terrestrial life has evolved from a few primitive unicellular organisms, possibly even from one single organism."

The older I get the less I "need" a significant other of opposite sex, nor do I regret not having children as I have seen so much heartache that friends have experienced from them (children). What do you do to find satisfying meaning in your life?
