There was a question just posted, and one answer suggested that it should also be considered in reverse. I agree, and I'd like to see what you all think. I'm gonna rephrase it a bit.
Please keep in mind that this is a hypothetical. Don't get all hung up on the details, please.
If your daughter was dying and the only person who could save her demanded that you deconvert, leave your religion, and deny your God, would you do it?
If you don't, this person will refuse to save her and she will die. You would not have to stop believing "in your heart" but you would be required to talk and behave as if you really deconverted from your religion and denied your God.
One more thing... please play nicely when you answer. No need for hatefulness.
