First of all I do not want athiest views.

Do actively homosexual people think they can become good christians?
When in the bible states that men that lie with men will not inherit the kingdom of God unless they cease doing what they are doing.

How can the Anglican Church have gay priests unless a gay priest is abstaining and repenting of his sins?

1 Corinthians 6:9-11 9

What! Do YOU not know that unrighteous persons will not inherit God’s kingdom? Do not be misled. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men kept for unnatural purposes, nor men who lie with men,
nor thieves, nor greedy persons, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit God’s kingdom.

Below states to to become clean you must stop from doing such sins.

And yet that is what some of YOU were. But YOU have been washed clean, but YOU have been sanctified, but YOU have been declared righteous in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and with the spirit of our God.

Christians have no problem believing the bible stories like a talking bush, talking animals, angels blowing trumpets in the sky, wizards and all kinds of absurd fictional stories like men walking on water but wont believe in evolution to save their life.

When I say... "I am a Christian"
I'm not shouting "I'm clean livin'."
I'm whispering "I was lost,
Now I'm found and forgiven."

When I say... "I am a Christian"
I don't speak of this with pride.
I'm confessing that I stumble
and need Christ to be my guide.

When I say... "I am a Christian"
I'm not trying to be strong.
I'm professing that I'm weak
And need His strength to carry on.

When I say... "I am a Christian"
I'm not bragging of success.
I'm admitting I have failed
And need God to clean my mess.

When I say... "I am a Christian"
I'm not claiming to be perfect,
My flaws are far too visible
But, God believes I am worth it.

When I say... "I am a Christian"
I still feel the sting of pain.
I have my share of heartaches
So I call upon His name.

When I say... "I am a Christian"
I'm not holier than thou,
I'm just a simple sinner

Who received God's good grace, somehow!

I'm sure we all perpetrated this act at some time in our natural lives. I did a few times and I'm sure you did too.

I was born in a Christian household, I was loosely raised. Over a course of time however doubt came into my mind. I found myself challenging every religion at the age of 9. I found myself an outcast due to children teasing me and saying "you're going to hell when you die" or "I'm gonna laugh when I'm in heaven." For years I tried to find my place, not only in Christianity, but in all religions, but I found myself an outcast. I found the way of the agnostic, and it made sense to me, I had tried to lie to myself for years and say I'm Christian for years, but I had found the way that suited me best. Now I see people calling us lost, and hell-bound, but I couldn't convert to Christianity, it would be a lie to myself, it's not that its hard for me to do, it's IMPOSSIBLE for me to do.

It just mystifies me how some people can absolutely show such disdain for Christ and Christians. Yeah, we can't prove we're right, but that doesn't mean we're not.

I think that the problem stems from people proselytizing. On the surface, I can understand this, as I was a "victim" of it during my younger days. I hated the way it made me feel guilty for being a "sinner", as well as the "sureness" in their way--the utter confidence that they were right and everyone else is wrong--but now that I'm on the "other side" it makes perfect sense.

If you believe that Christ is "The Way, The Truth, and The Life; no man cometh unto the Father but by me", why wouldn't you badger and cajole everyone you can to get them to heaven. To me, it's the ultimate act of love.

I am married to an Egyptian that is a muslim and we were married in a mosque in the US. He is Sunni muslim. We were only married in a mosque, we never got married legally in the courts. About 3 months ago we went our seperate ways. I don't believe he ever went to the mosque to ask for a divorce and he has never said anything to me about it but we have not talked in 3 months. We have no children together. My question is under Islam are we still married or not? In my heart I feel we are but I am not sure. Thanks for any advice.
