like the meaning of life. they LOVE to spout off about the same BS evolution, but it takes more faith to believe that horsecrap than it does to believe in God.

I was raised in the Church of Christ and was always taught you must take the Lord's Supper(Communion) each week. Since I have been on my own, I have attended different denominations and noticed the Lord's Supper isn't observed weekly. Where in the Bible is this issue addressed?

When I was in the sixth grade, some chritian counselor came to our school to give us a speech (as they always do) ,and he told us that when you throw your teeange mutant ninja turtle action figurine in fire, it will start to scream. Has anyone else heard the same story? I remembered it recently and am trying to figure out if I just imagined the whole thing. It's just so ridiculous. How can someone in their right mind tell something like that to a little kid? (Don't even get me started on what they told us about Gummi Bears)

I'm a christian, but I fail to understand why the majority of us are so self-involved that we ignore the problem of poverty and speaking against it. Why don't we admit that this country has failed to work on peverty inside it's borders. Why Republican or Democrat, do we not make that a top priority? Is a child starving less important than banning abortion? It's sad to know that this is y country.

I met a guy who is younger than myself three weeks ago , we have a lot in common and we have had some good times togeather . He says he cares about me and enjoys being with me , But he doesn't like to cuddle or have me hold him when we are in bed togeather . If I want to hold his hand or kiss him I always have to reach for his hand or kiss him he never goes after me in anyway . We have had sex only once , he hasn't wanted to do it again . I just don't know what to think , He says he has feelings for me but I can't understan why he doesn't act on them . Give me your thoughts .

There is nothing that God has planned that will not occur? If God has planned it and has decided it, then what come may ~ it will surely take place. So, all those that Jesus died for, will eventually be saved. All those that Jesus was sent to redeem with his blood, they will be redeemed ~ not one of them will be left out. Also, all those that God wants to be in Heaven, if the way is through Jesus ~ then they will come to Jesus. And if God has decided to save them, there is nothing that anyone, even themselves can do to hinder the purpose of God concerning their lives. We can even go to the extreme and say, God makes them willing and capable of obeying him ~ for the sake of what he has planned.

Is there anything out of place above?

Why is the country so hung up over flag burning?
Why do we need crosses to show faith?
Don't these things create a jealous God as what is written?

If us atheists had enough evidence that god exist, we would believe with no problem. It's not our fault that god failed to show us evidence. If god exist(which he doesn't), he should know that. All he has to do is show us some factual evidence and i'm not talking about showing us by having a car accident, terrorist attack, natural dissaster or anything like that. I mean hard solid evidence. Anyone can write a book and everyone knows how much the bible has been tampered with so dont give me that bible crap. Oh, it's our choice? You didn't say it was YOUR choice when you claimed he blessed you. So, dont give me this choice crap. If it's ok to choose what we're comfortable with, we shouldn't go to hell for it.
