Do you think we all have a reason we were ut on this Earth? And if so, do you also think we have an effect on the Earth if we don't fulfill it?

I read about this exercise called the "Virgin boy exercise"(there is other names for it), it deals with sustaining from ANY sexual actions for a certain time period to build up a pure, clean circulation of sexual energy know as the jing, or ching. Do you know how long this time period is?

If you know of any good websites or books I would be grateful if you could share it with me.

I have enough funds to live modestly for the rest of my life if I downsized to a barn or a straw house. I've opted for either one because It's been done successfully before and they need the least maintenance and energy. What's your take on it?

I just wanted to know if it was true, or did someone fix up this sick website that also contaned pictures.
It's about some Americasn that eat unborn babies because it's a delicacy. If it is true, Then I think someone needs to stop it for the respect of the nonliving. For human rights!
Does anyone know about this?

All we have is the heavy well promoted and funded propaganda machine and a remote fictional composite character...isn't it a bit like one of those virtual reality Japanese pop-stars really!

"Christianity is basically nothing more than an extremely efficient virus of the mind.

Since they emanate from humans and therefore have an organic component, all ideas have a survival instinct just like their human progenitors, and will seek to propagate themselves into as many human hosts as possible. Now of course some ideas are beneficial to their human hosts, but not all.

Christianity is one of those malignant versions. Of course, the long-term life expectancy of its human hosts is beneficial to the Christian mind virus since it allows more propagation, but ultimately the survival of its human hosts is irrelevant, as demonstrated throughout history in wars with competing religious viral "memes" (ideas).

Need proof? Just look at the evangelical nature of Christianity. Christianity drives its adherents to "spread the word" through human-to-human contact...just like a virus spreads."

Why is the world today so desperately determined to do away with God and convince us all that we're all some kind of non-miraculous cosmic accident? You would think with all the desolation and turmoil that we would all be running to some kind of higher power for hope... even aspirations that this all means something and that we can look forward to at least a glimmer- a shining ember of better things to come. Being atheist is just to frightening to me.

This is an ethics question that pertains, in this case, to a private Christian camp. At the camp, an alarm was sounded that signalled the need for a lost person rescue down at the lake. A young female camper was named, and people were frantic to find her and save her. Her brother was beside him in agony, hoping she'd be found. Counselors and program coordinators panicked.

In the end, they said it was all just a drill. The girl had been quietly "kidnapped" by staff, no one was told, and the drill started. This was condoned by the director of the waterfront and by his boss, one of the primary activity coordinators at the camp.

Employess were crying and frantic, campers were scared out of their minds, and the brother was experiencing trauma over imagining his sister might have drowned. The staff responsible said it was necessary in order to get people to take the drill seriously.

Sounds to me like the end justifying the means, and I think it's horribly unethical. Thoughts?

The man in the newspaper article below is actually the father of a boy at my sons playgroup. A close friend of mine showed me and others at playgroup the article as none of us knew who or what he was (a filthy paedophile).

Playgroup has maintained that he is being monitored by them, but at the christmas party he walked in with a smirk in his face with a video camera round his neck, and a digital camera in his hand. As all the mums were mortified by the possibility that he could be taking photos of their kids, we all agreed that NO-ONE was allowed to take photos, just so he couldn't. Another mum rang a helpline about him and was told that he shouldn't be taking photos if he is on licence, but no-one seems to want to do anything about it. Even the police don't seem to want to help us.
Surely, if he is on licence and breaks his terms, he should be punished further as he obviously hasn't learnt his lesson!?
How can i find out what the terms are?
Anyone else been in this predicament??

Do you personally contribute to the relief of the suffering in the World. Or do you believe that prayer and God will take care of The Sick and Needy?
Why do we in the developed World have a much easier life than the countless sufferers in the third World? Did God decide that and why?

I recently had a couple of weeks holiday in Spain, (a lovely place ) I spent a lot of time in the local bars and made a lot of Spanish friends while I was drinking their local brew.
The only problem I had was that they couldnt speak English! I explained to them as best as I could that they were completly uneducated because of their not understanding the English langauge.
We became friends eventually and they even gave me a little 'nick name' this sounded something like " El Anglaise Bastido" When I asked what this meant they told me it meant " My dear English friend" Is this a correct translation??
