There are still a whole bunch of people that believe in God. It's just that more people are now voicing their opinions now. Long ago you could get blamed of being a witch for denying God, and you would get burned at the stake. Saying to some people now that there isn't a god could still cause a nasty fight. People just feel more free to speak what they really feel nowadays. If a a person believes in evolution that doesn't mean that they are anti God.

Nothing wrong with believing in a higher power.. but the evidence that life on earth began the way scientist discovered is too convincing to be ignored..

i can understand why not believing would be scary to you. but i feel the same way...i think believing in something that i personally feel isn't there is scary. i can't pour my heart and soul into something that to me appears to be just thin air. when bad things happen in the world i don't turn to religion as others do, i turn to my heart, my family. i look within to ground myself, not up for a higher power. we're all just different i guess, we all look somewhere different for comfort and hope.

The falling away? as predicted in Revelation?
maybe, maybe not. Noone knows. But I see that he
is starting to call his own back to him.
The world is not in a good spot right now that's for sure.

It's all the thinking. It's fatal to faith, thinking. Lethal to God for us to use our brains - according to Genesis it was only when we gained the knowledge of good and evil that we fell from God's favour. What does that tell you about God's criteria for getting to Heaven?

Simply put if you can eliminate GOD you can also eliminate responsibility for ones actions and the subsequent results of those actions.

"Evolution is God's way of issuing upgrades" -- a quote I found somewhere in the WWW . . . just because one believe's in evolution, doesn't mean that he/she is anti-God. Personally, I think the quote above is quite apt.
