Dear Sister or Brother, this is a most interesting concept and question in which you have proposed. If you see the Academy Award 2005 Movie "Transamerica" with Dolly Parton singing the Soundtrack, I think you will find the answer to your question. It is impossible to ''group'' all gay men together. Each are gay for a uniquely different reason...some genetically, some environmentally. There are as many reasons a person is ''gay,'' as there are persons who are gay.
Transexuals are a ''randon variation of nature." They do not choose to be born ''trapped in the physical body of the opposite sex." In many cultures, transexuals are seen as "special;'' in particular among Native American Tribes where they are assigned an ''elevated status as the assistant to the Shaman."
Some gay men are attracted to transexuals, not because they are bi-sexual, but because of the ''spirit of the person that resides within a particular transexual person; '' in spite of the outer appearances . Please let us be tolerant and have compassion for all diversities of creation.

First of all, I don't think you can group them....some gay men are attracted, some are not. However, being a transsexual is not at all related to being gay. Cross dressing has nothing to do with your sexual orientation. Cross dressers can be straight, gay or bi. And I loved the movie Transamerica, but that was a transgendered person (really felt like they were the wrong biological gender), not a transsexual.

Some people take along time to discover there sexual preferences and others know pretty young. It will take time for you to workout whats best for you, you may find you discover your gay or bi. You will know when you experiment, don't rush things you have lots of time and just do what you feel comfortable doing. There are plenty of straight acting guys out there trust me, they dont wear signs saying "im gay/bi" lol. You will know when you experiment with a guy (there are plenty of guys that are in your situation) who also are experimenting. When you actually meet other gay men and talk to then you will see there just like everyone else and not all like the sterotype. I would suggest going to a gay group for what your intrested in when your ready. You can find local gay events in your area online. Either way you are who you are and you cant help who your attracted to. Once you find out your preferance you need to accept it yourself. You are who you are.

I am a beautiful t-girl, and nope... gay men are not attracted to me whatsoever... They are more attracted to my shoes (They all want to try them on ;) than my boobs...

Drag queens are totally different than transsexuals. They are gay men cross-dressed for entertainment reasons, with make-up over the top and so on. They are kind of clowns for gay parties.

The only guys that notice me and make a move are str8. Therefore, the guys I date identify themselves as str8; they all love my femininity and curves ;) So, as far as I am concerned, I am an str8 woman as well, ‘cause I am a woman after all and there is always an excellent chemistry between str8 guys and me.

Gay men are enamored with the male form. A man's angular features, chiseled muscles, sharp jawline, etc. are what pique his secual interest.

Male-to-female transsexuals aren't like that. They have smooth skin, sensual curves, breasts, hips, long hair, etc. They aren't physically appealing.

Female-to-male transsexuals have - or are developing - the aspects of men that gay men are attracted to. Later-stage FtMs, especially those who have undergone mastectomies, are attractive to gay men.

Because men who are gay like men. And a transgender male who wants to be a woman is a woman and gay men like men.

Sexual identity has nothing to do with sexual attraction.

Gay men like men and trans women are women.

There are straights gays and bisexuals who may find transexuals attractive. I doubt that it is predominantly one group over another.

i don think most gay men are turned off by transsexuals....why else would "most gay bars" have "drag shows". i think gay men, for the most part are attracted to men.

i think when it comes to the attraction to transsexuals, which i am very attracted to along with crossdressers, it comes from the mystery....the femininity.....but still the male body that is under it all
