What do you personally contribute to World suffering and injustice?

Do you personally contribute to the relief of the suffering in the World. Or do you believe that prayer and God will take care of The Sick and Needy?
Why do we in the developed World have a much easier life than the countless sufferers in the third World? Did God decide that and why?

I cause men everywhere much suffering and grief, they don't know whether to love me or hate and swear I must be a witch, because they just cant leave me alone,even though I am not the type of girl that one takes home.
seriously though I do not do enough, I donate blood, clothing, old or duplicate items, such as small appliances,when I can, I joined a couple groups of a consumer advocate group that fights pharmacuetical companies and government abuses,and 90.7pacifica radio, which is very involved with the community and I donate money to this organization give away their film club membership as a gift to others, I try to stay aware and informed and demonstrate tolerance, open,mindedness,acceptance and forgiveness,a little respect(if possible) so that I hopefully might recieve some of these responses from others, I am fiercely outspoken against ignorance and hatred and will help the exploited and poor when I can and while in a work situation, I will stand up to and for others and forbid anyone to mistreat anyone in front of me, I will confront and defend against this rather than stand by complicitly. I am an a$$hole for humanity,and I try to help myself as much as possible and when thnigs are not right in my life I blame me, rather than my personal god or somebody or thing,I proactively attempt to be a solution rather than a source of misery and part of the problem ,I have made it a goal of mine to fight to resolve issues rather than to win or to get even, and try to keep my revenge activities to nil or bare minimum, I look for a new position ,more effective approach or walk away, and refuse be anything but mentally free thinking, and reject ignorant apathetic hypocrites and any religion or one who tries to impose their will on me with every atom of my being, I help others when I can, and do not do all the evil things that I think to whoever has pissed me off, I cultivate positivity and reject negativity

I don't contribute to world suffering myself, they are suffering enough without me taking a swing at them. To help reduce the suffering I give my money and my time. It's all I can do. Praying I think is for the comfort of the person doing the praying although I do believe it has an effect upon the world population, I'm just not sure what that effect is or how it is directed. The reason life in the industrial world is easier is Democracy, in my opinion of course. God doesn't take much interest in the day to day affairs of mankind from my observations so I feel it is incorrect to place blame on the One. Interesting questions, thank you.

There will always be needy and greedy. Prayer and god need human hands to take care of the needy. Unfortunately the third world countries breed like sheep and because they are most illiterate they cant be taught birth control or it is against their pagan religions. We on the other hand have everything that they don't have and still want more toys. The balance is in favour of the educated. Jesus said "if a man asks for your singlet, give him your coat also" how many folks can take His words and turn them into action?I cannot contribute to every cause, I do what I can on a limited welfare program.

I believe each of us has a part to play in the relief of suffering in the world. I pray to change me so that I'll progress, spiritually, in being God's eyes, ears, arms and hands, here on earth. So that I'll be sensitive to the suffering of others, and do what I can to alleviate it. Also, I am a messenger of God's Messenger, Baha'u'llah, so share with suffering humanity, His healing message, so that, individually and collectively, we can change this vale of tears into the Kingdom of God on Earth, as Christ promised.

I believe we were blessed to be born into an area of the world that was blessed with abundant resources. I believe we are materially blessed; but, due to their suffering, they are spiritually blessed. We are material giants, spiritual midgets. The Christian Scriptures say the meek will inherit the earth. Baha'u'llah (I believe) said, "the last shall be first and the first shall be last." We are all being tested; to see what we will do, individually, and as a nation concerning this problem. And as we act, we will be judged and rewarded or condemned. God gave us everything. It is we who have caused the suffering by our greed. Happiness or suffering is an inner thing. A man can have everything and suffer, or have nothing and be happy. Those who have been made to suffer here will be at the head of the line, there. Those of us who have caused suffering, or who have done nothing about the suffering, here, will be the sufferers, there.
Our hell, in the next world will be the knowledge of what we should have done, here, but didn't; or of what we did here, but shouldn't have.

all kinds, imagine about it, even in secular words without declaring the bible i visit respond to this one there is an ole keeping that Adversity if the mummy of invention, conflict for instance is mostly a foul element, yet look on the advances we made n conflict, Medicnes and technologies, I advise somewhat ? we would have under no circumstances are starting to be this far if it were no longer for our being at each and every others throats ? as for ailments? those stress us to imagine, attempt and inspire us to triumph over, motives us to develop in information, retains us from being too complacent. From a Biblical Christian perspective ? i imagine that the reply is two-fold. One, finally, no one is innocuous. All have sinned and fallen short of the large difference of God (Rom. 3:23) and are by utilizing nature children of wrath (Eph. 2:3). there is none innocuous. besides the undeniable fact that that's biblically precise, it does no longer fulfill the question emotionally. Why do little children struggle through for issues they have not finished? i must renowned that i do no longer comprehend. finally, we could believe God who's popular with the initiating from the top and sees the grand image. he will have the merely right be conscious and he will be vindicated. in end ? suffering is the outcome of human sin. the international isn't the way that God created it and thanks to that, all are at probability of the outcome of sin contained in the international. Why does one man or woman struggle through and yet another does no longer? Why do catastrophes ensue to three and under no circumstances to others? that is because sin is contained in the international. yet there'll come an afternoon even as the Lord will go back and cleanse this international of all sin and all suffering. "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there'll be no extra lack of life, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any extra discomfort: for the former issues are surpassed on to the great beyond," (Rev. 21:4).

Man is the cause of all proplems or sufferings on earth today. And he alone is going to resolve them as he created them...whether developing or developed world or whatever. Thats why we are having problems of wars everywhere on earth today. we must learn the lessons of divine love to be free from all sufferings. Bush must love Osama, so there won't be any war.

Shamefully not much if anything. Just praying, when I do pray. That's about it. The things people have on earth (cars, house, money) God doesn't give us. The bible says our riches will be given to us in Heaven. America has things because we are greedy and selfish (i.e. politicians, oil co.'s, ceo's.) not because God loves us more than 3rd world countries!
