Weird... although it may be sort of true. I remember them being hollow, and the heads made of rubber. If you throw that in a fire it would cause the air inside to expand and may very well... kinda whistle or screech when it escapes. Maybe that's what led him to believe that.

Haha, this is a good one. Most action figures have empty space inside them, so as to save on money for the plastic. When the air in those spaces heats up from the fire, it expands and puts pressure on the surface of the space. Eventually, the pressure will be great enough to force a tiny hole in the plastic, from which immensely hot air will escape, making a loud whistling sound for some time. I can see how someone might try to scare little kids with this, explaining it to be the work of the devil, etc.
Me and my little brother used to throw broken action figures in fires purely for this effect; my dad explained the cause to me soon after. No demons or evil spirits involved.

Actualy this Is true. See everything represents something Good or evil. You are aware that pokemon Is really a POCKET MONSTER. I've not only heard of this ...I know people that has had this experience. The spiritual realm is more real than anyone can ever know. For Instance, You feel the wind but do you know where It comes from ? How do you know It's really the wind? Have you seen It? The BIble speaks of demons and they're very real. Don't mock what you know nothing of. The Bible Is very clear on this subject. They can see, feel and have emotions. Whatever you entertain Is the door you open for the enterance of good or evil.

Gases are emitted. Pressure exists. Pressure can cause sound. It's very simple. Throw a potato, piece of wood, or anything else in the fire. Sit back and listen.

Never hear of that, but it sounds freaky.
Perhaps the counselor said that as a means of fire precaution. Not too sure on that one.

Never heard that but the plastic may make a "squealing" sound that mimics a scream.

at the age of 9, my sunday school teacher told me that the devil put dinosaur bones in the earth to confuse us.... it was at that very moment that I turned from your faith, if for no other reason than harboring retards that would defile a young childs mind with gibberish.
