Jehovah's Witnesses are in 235 lands & islands, in all these lands, we respect the flag of that country, unlike some people that call themselves Christians.
Why do you think, the prisons are full of so-called Christians, why is it that so-called Christians are the ones that "burn, spit, step on the "flag" and show disrespect not only to the flag but to the country they live in? I recall a person that saluted or said the pledge of allegiance to the flag every day, this was the President of the United States, he had to resign from the office because of wrong doing, so you see "saluting or pledging" to the flag is not what makes a good person, it's obeying God's Word.
Is it because of people that could care less about
God's rules that are layed out in the Bible, our pamplets, magazines, books tell you about these rules of God, we offer them free, world wide, you can accept them or reject them, it's up to you.

There is a principle of worship that Jehovah’s Witnesses emphasize more than other religious groups do: exclusivity. Jesus stated that principle at Luke 4:8: “It is Jehovah your God you must worship, and it is to him alone you must render sacred service.” So, Witnesses choose to avoid directing worship to anyone or anything in the universe other than Jehovah. Participating in the flag salute of any nation is to them a worshipful act that would intrude on and violate our exclusive worship of Jehovah.
Both the Israelites and the early Christians were warned repeatedly against worshiping any man-made object. This practice was condemned as idolatry. (Exodus 20:4-6; Matthew 22:21; 1 John 5:21) Can the flag really be considered an idol? Yes. It is widely treated as a sacred symbol, and more. Catholic historian Carlton Hayes put it this way: “Nationalism’s chief symbol of faith and central object of worship is the flag.”
This does not mean that Jehovah’s Witnesses disrespect the flag or those who salute it. Generally we will respectfully stand for such ceremonies as long as we are not required to participate. It is our belief that one shows true respect for the flag by obeying the laws of the land it represents.

various of the different "ideals" are high quality. for occasion, Jehovah's Witnesses don't think, and function by no ability suggested, that salvation is recent in a non secular corporation. We overtly properly known Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. a number of the different "ideals," even nonetheless, are merely not Biblical. Nowhere does the Bible help the thought "as quickly as saved, consistently saved." There are too many admonitions interior the Scriptures with regard to the opportunity of dropping God's prefer, thereby dropping salvation. comparable with a "accountability and legal duty formerly God to vote in elections." that type of entanglement with the international is merely not supported by ability of the two the occasion or the classes of Jesus. ingesting alcohol is a feeling of right and incorrect count. we don't require every physique to drink alcohol. And if every physique desires to have confidence the earth is merely 6,000 years old, that's their decision. however the Bible does not require it. in short, a man or woman protecting a number of the different "ideals" you point out might desire to truly use a good bible learn. Their questioning on some factors must be readjusted to comply with what the Bible rather teaches. specific, this way of man or woman can come to our conferences, yet as a pupil, not as a instructor. The Bible instructions that Christians "talk in settlement," without disunity or divisions in our coaching. To have a man or woman who overtly expresses critiques diverse from what we coach may be complicated, not upbuilding. And God isn't the author of bewilderment. Why should they accept a flag from you? They would not fly it! Do you want them to wash their car with it or diaper their baby with it? Why in the heck would you want to give an American Flag to someone who does not feel the same way as you do about it? Think about your question. (Now I am not saying they would be disrespectful of the flag, but just what would you want them to do with it, since it is against their religion to fly it??)
I am an Vietnam Era Vet. I have great respect for my country and my flag. Why someone would give the flag to someone who would just toss it away and not fly it is beyond me.
If you don't want their pamphlets, just don't take one, but don't make a condition of taking a pamphlet contingent on them taking a flag from you.

This question seems to refer to the fact that Jehovah's Witnesses do not pledge allegiance to the flag of any nation.
Jehovah's Witnesses do not harbor superstition against national flags. Many of their conventions and assemblies are held in municipal stadiums which fly or otherwise display national, state, and local flags and the Witnesses uncomplainingly gather, pray, and worship in full view of these flags. Some Witnesses routinely raise and lower flags from flagpoles in the course of their secular work. Similarly, individuals among Jehovah's Witnesses unfailingly respect national flags and observe all the rules, laws, and protocols related to them, with one noted exception:
Jehovah's Witnesses do not participate in ceremonies which seem to venerate any flag as an object of worship or devotion. While Jehovah's Witnesses will stand or sit with solemnity during such ceremonies, they will not join in singing anthems or pledging allegiance to a flag. Jehovah's Witnesses believe that their worship and devotion belong exclusively to the Almighty, and their subjection to secular governments is relative to their ultimate subjection to Jehovah God.
(Exodus 20:3-5) You must not have any other gods against my face. ...I Jehovah your God am a God exacting exclusive devotion
(Romans 13:1) Let every soul be in subjection to the superior authorities [secular governments], for there is no authority except by God; the existing authorities stand placed in their RELATIVE positions by God. [caps added]
Interestingly, modern Quakers (Friends) believe as Jehovah's Witnesses do. They also do not pledge allegiance to the flag, viewing it as object worship.

Have you ever said the Pledge, You are pledging Allegiance or devotion to the country. Another word for allegiance is dedication. I recently went to a convention of Jehovah's Witnesses. They said that the are dedicated only to God.

Because they're peace-loving people who don't believe that one nation, country, culture or group is better than another. If they took your flag and displayed it, it may make others feel alienated. The Witnesses I know are cool people.

because their loyalties lie with their religion not their country.
when you look at it most people, christiansw for example, divy their loyalty up. for the christians it goes 50% god and 50% country. depending on the person the variables may vary. more loyalty might be invested into god than country or the other way around.
interestingly though the soldiers and servixcepeople who are most loyal to their country are atheists and nonbeleivers. why? when we divy the loyalty you can see that the loyalty to their country usually is as high as 100% since they have no loyalty to a diety. using rhese numbers it can plainly be seen that atheists are more loyal to their country than theists (namely christians).

Our magazines, tracts, and brochures can save and help your life. A flag is a symbol of this country. A country that cannot bring us true happiness, that hasn't created us, doesn't sustain our life, and has no hope of a future. Which one is more important to you?
