God wants all of us to believe in him, however not everyone wants to fallow his commandments and live their life according to his instructions, they'd rather live doing what ever makes them happy and satisfied, thus the inventions of false idols, causing new religions which then contradict each other, which then starts prejudice which leads to hate which leads to war. Also, there isn't one religion because God wouldn't receive all glory for forcing people to do things they don't want to do. He gave us a choice and waits for us to make the right one.

People feel offended when you question their faith because its their basis of life... Wicca beleives in one thing Christianity another and buddism ... Cmon... there is like 100s out there so no need to list them all but the majors... neways.. You may be aethiest and so may many other science lovers... People don't like getting their faith questioned is because they are tired of people critisizing them about what they beleive in. Its only fair that since you beleive in science that they can beleive in their god , or goddess, or horse, or cow, or what ever they choose to beleive in. Freedom of religion is a wonderful thing and should never be questioned. Live and let live and all that happy jaz... lets not start a war over something as petty as religious beleifs...

People get mad for the same reasons you would if someone told you that you had peanuts for brains and needed to see a psychiatrist about your psychosis. You don't just tell people their reason for living is not true.
God does not make people fight. God is good. I think you need prayer because you obviously need to meet with God. As long as you are alive you can still be saved.
God Bless You and I will pray that you'll learn the Truth. Read your Bible and you'll find out.

When science proves God does not exist, then, you've got a problem, until then live & let live. After all the scientific work Albert Einstien did, He changed his mind and began to believe. His work proved to him, that there had to be a greater power, because of the way the universe works. I don't mind if you question my religion, it's more the name calling, because I choose to believe in God. And, all the hate & death is due to people thinking everyone has to be like them !!! You go your way & I'll go mine, no problem.

Simply due to the fact the foundations of their beliefs are made of sand, so they have no strength. Push hard enough and it all falls down.
Some people need emotional crutches to accept life, knocking them down, will ALWAYS make them mad and upset.
Even when I was an xtian, I often upset people because I asked questions that challenged their beliefs - one vicar actually once told me to "shut up and just believe-how dare I question!?"(!!!!)Modern man and the intellect that accompanies, is slowly realising 'god', as religion knows it, does not exist.

mendacity is considered a severe sin in Islam. that is purely no longer allowed, because Islam and lie are incompatible. yet, even as i'm at homestead, dozing or about to take a bathtub or feeling drained, i do no longer elevate my telephone and tell one in all my sons to say i became no longer there. They always hesitate saying it turned right into a sin. and that i urge them to bypass ahead and say it on my duty. It takes position a pair of times per week. My career is programming and my purchasers are too annoying. What to do ? I curse Alexander Graham Bell for this nasty invention. yet also am terrified of duty contained in the hereinafter. The reason behind the multiple religions is that people don't want to have to commit to God because they want to have things their own way and so they make up their own false idols so that they can go on with their life without changing anything.

Because their beliefs are tenuous and they know it. Unlike a political opinion which can have a diametrically opposed opinion that is equally valide and respected, religion and all such myths can't withstand any view disagreeing with their own.

"If you're not one of us, you're evil and we can kill you" only works in religion or extremist ideologies like Stalinism or Shrub's WhiteRace House.
