Yes, but I only did it because my grandma told me I would go to hell if I didn't - I was eleven. I'm 28 now and want NOTHING to do with Christianity. It's a screwed up religion full of mostly screwed up people - it's a big cult that preys on the weak and fearful and if Chrisitians don't like that image - they can stop freakin shoving scriptures down our throats and start being honest about how much they don't actually know about god because no one knows what god is - you can't put your faith in the words of man because man is a liar.

Is that the answer you were looking for? Sorry - I'm bitter - that side of my family are very judgemental and self-righteous. All they do is wish Jesus would come back to Earth and save them - they have no faith in god and take their lives for granted. I think it's sickening. They look down on my mother and my mother is one of the nicest people you'd ever have the priviledge of meeting. They looked down on my father (their son and brother) for so many things and he was ... he was also one of the nicest people you'd ever have the priviledge of meeting.

My parents taught me to treat others as you would like to be treated and my dad's family has never treated me very nicely at all. Not many Christians have and I've known a lot.

Surely, you didn't stop at verse 38, did you:?

You also need to:

45: "And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need."

don't forget:

46: "And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,"

Odd how the first pope (Peter) continued temple worship even though he had founded the Catholic church.

Yes, I've been saved by the blood of Jesus, and washed clean in water baptism.
