All through history there have been people that have been marginalized and killed for squatting on precious land, having gold that you want, etc.
Those people are the only thing that standing in YOUR way to a better future for yourself. If you can somehow make them less-than-human, barbarians, heathens, or whatever, - then you can do god a favor and relieve the world of their presence.
Women know what they have, and over 95% of "un-wanted" pregnancies are directly / indirectly related to the women's actions and in-actions, taking (acceptable??) risks, being at the wrong place by violating common sense, etc.
I used the term "un-wanted" because over 1/2 of the people walking down the street were not planned or wanted.
So when you start to use terms of right / wrong, without recognizing the human-ness and common decency that we should show for a fellow man, a lot of us would say you're missing the bigger picture.

I have had a few friends that have had abortions and the effects on the females bodies, and minds was tremendous. Nightmares, and soreness. Flash backs and thinking they hear their baby that just got scooped out of them yelling and crying. I am never for abortion. Abortion is death to a human being. One that has rights, whether or not born.
As to the rape scenario....Theres always adoption.
Teen pregnancies, well I look at it like this, IF the teenager thought she was big and bad enough to go out and have sex, then she is big and bad enough to deal with the consequences. I did, and Im stronger for it. NO I dont condone Teen Pregnancy but I do condone the life of that baby living inside her.
If the fetus is deformed then the Mother ( and husband or father ) need to have a discusion with the doctor to find the best cure with out abortion. Deformed fetuses deserve life just like regular ones. No their life Might or Might not be as happy as .."normal" peoples but they will live through it.
If the health of the mother is a factor. and only if carring the baby will cause death to either one, then The parents need to find out what to do about it, how to fix it. Usually there is a certian point to which the mother can carry a fetus, if there is going to be problems as to her health. She can carry it until that time and have it. If the baby dies then they can love that baby and remember it.
The cost of being in the hospital to have a baby early and the medical cost, would not outcost the Pysical, mental therapy and could be medicines the mother Might have to go on after having the abortion. Least this way she could properly say good bye.
A man should not decide over the womans decision. But the father/husband, need to discuss the options the mother has....like adoption, or taking on the baby.
Abortion is IN MY OPINION a cop out. a crutch used to help woman try to take the easy way out.

Abortion is murder and genocide no matter the circumstances of the conception. Whether it be rape or incest, or a teenage pregnancy, the mother gives up control of "her" body--which is equally God's body--to the unborn child; at the risk of sounding coarse, she's an incubator. There are, in fact, very few instances where the health of the mother or child would be at risk by carrying to term--even incest is no guarantee of this--thus removing the only real basis for the liberals' pushing of abortion. Furthermore, what justification is there in punishing the baby for the circumstances of his or her existence? Is it the baby's fault the mother was raped or molested? And why shouldn't the father, who has an equal stake in the pregnancy, have a voice in the decision to kill his child? (Just a few things to think about...)

No one has the right to force a female to bring a fetus to term against her will. Every pregnancy is a threat to the life of the female.
Fetuses aren't "human" but potential humans. Nature tosses out half the fertilized eggs in the first place so they aren't too big a deal on the cosmic scale.
I wish my mother would have had the option of an abortion. Being born to a teenage mother in the 50s with another baby already wasn't a fun life ; (

I never knew anyone to "fall" pregnant. Don't let someone spoof you. You don't get pregnant by falling. That's a decision you will make. Right, wrong, or otherwise. You have been told the Truth. NOBODY, on this planet will answer for this BUT. YOU.
God, is against it, the Bible Holy Word, of God Himself teaches this.
Teenage pregnancies? So?. The mother & father should have had the kid in church, not on the street.
Sorry. You won't find any sympathy here. Sympathy, done went south.
GOD, IS STILL ON THE THRONE.
Make your decision. YOU and YOU, alone will answer for it. IF, there is no God,...then there is no problem. Right? This is right, RIGHT?
You know it's wrong, or you wouldn't be taking a internet poll servey. Polls, lie. Majority, doesn't always rule. GOD RULES.
Hey. Good Question. Good Luck. Have a nice week.

Mmmm, well here's something to think about, since you say it's just the woman's choice. What about a situation where the mother wants an abortion but the father wants the child? The child is equally theirs, it takes two to tango, as they say. But the woman could go out and get an abortion, killing (I wont say murder, but it is killing, that can't be denied) the child that's as much the father's as hers. That's certainly not fair. But of course it's also not fair to force her to carry the child for nine months and give birth or have surgery at the end, is it? So what's the fairer choice here? I suppose ideally we'd have artificial incubators that could support the fetus until it can live on it's own. That would be fair, but we don't have that yet, so what's fair now?

Abortion should always be a choice available to a woman. The Bible is clear that a woman has an obligation to consider abortion when she has been raped. No where in the Bible does it say that abortion is wrong. And in fact God himself uses abortion in the form of miscarriage.
I would say a reasonable thing to do is to ask yourself several questions. Can I support the child. Can I furnish health care. Will the child have a mother and father. Will the child be loved if it is the result of rape.
I suggest that you pray to God and take his advice with these things in mind.

If you don't want the baby just give it up for adoption. Let the baby live and make a barren couple very happy. Why can't people ever think about anybody other than themselves? However the kid came to be it wasn't its choice, why should it be punished? Why should you kill it just because you weren't planning on getting pregnant? Yes it is a huge pain in the butt to carry it and give birth to it. I have nothing but the highest admiration and respect for women that do it and then selflessly give it up. That has to take trememdous strength of character.

Thou shalt not kill! There is no fine print or in case of emergency guidelines. It is black and white, plain and simple. No matter what the case, give the child a chance. In Philippians chapter 4, it says with God all things are possible. The girl could have been raped, molested, or the baby may be deformed. We are not God, nor should we try and play as if we are.

I agree, I think people should be allowed to choose. I dont believe a human is actually a human until they are born and actually have experiences, until they actually realize that they are their own individual, how much of a life could you have? I however, would not let my fiance have an abortion, I could not imagine her going through that paina nd I could not imagine ever regretting losing a child or potential child.
