ASHTANGA YOGA 3 times a week.

RUN 3-5 times a week (aim to get to 5k 5x a week).

SEX as often as possible.

Drink lots of water and salad before and after every meal.

Eat at scheduled times and don't allow yourself to snack on anything other than raw veggies and low GI fruits.

Avoid sugary and fatty foods like the plague. You stop craving them after a while.

If you get hungary often, make your scheduled meals more frequent. Maybe every 3 to 4 hours if need be. Never let yourself get too hungry or overly full and be sure to make every meal a satisfying one.

Reduce portion size and pay attention to your bodys signals. Eat your meals slow and take breaks inbetwen bites. You should not have food in your mouth constantly. Stop eating before you start to feel full, and eat salad until you do.

Focus on becoming more healthy and nurishing your body, instead of just loosing weight.

Don't eat anything 3 hours before bedtime. Eat your last meal about 5 hours before bedtime, and allow yourself a snack like an apple or yogurt or something a few hours before bed. Don't go to bed hungry.

Go for your runs in the morning to get your metabolism going, and walk after every meal, even if it's just for 20 - 30mins.

Make reasonable goals that you can achieve, track your progress, and find ways to stay motivated, if the visible results aren't already enough.

Become aware of the many ways your healthy weightloss is affecting your life. Do you physically feel better? Are you more confident. Do you have more energy?

Try it with a friend, if you need help staying on track.

Definitely, smoking, eating drinking loosing your time, etc., are not activities for the most important person in the Universe!
Thus, what I did when I wanted to loose weight was to think in the above described way, all by myself, became healthier, stronger, happier, more accepted by everyone!
I arranged everything in my life better than before!
Started sleeping properly.
Eating better, stop eating: sugar (replaced it with honey), salt, bread, spaghetti, pasta, potatoes, etc.
Reduce meat and meat products, instead I am having more yogurt and milk (low fat).
Mainly eat salads, vegetables, fruits!
Also, I take garlic, drink herbal tea, and tones of clear clean water (as much as possible and non chlorinated!)
Some light exercise, including long walks with friends talking (or alone singing/ whispering!)
It takes time, but every moment of progress is pleasant!

I lost 105 pounds in 6 months. Here is how I did it.
1. Every morning get up and walk for 45 minutes. You can start with less time, but you want to get up to 45 minutes, and it must be fast walk. You want your heart rate to go up. It must be in the morning, it kick starts your metabolism.
2. I cut out Red Meat, and fatty foods. Boneless skinnless chicken breast, baked, or grilled, rice and vegetables (steamed).
3. Eat half. Just eat half of what you normally eat. Put 1/2 on your plate, and put the rest away. Cook less. When you go to fast food, get salads only. Or grilled chicken. No fries, diet soda. Or water.

It will work, once you get into a routine, you will get hooked on the results, and you will keep the routine. It has been over a year for me.
