My dear the Spiritual world governs rulers the earthly world. there are two kingdom in the spiritual world; HEAVEN AND HELL. there is a war btn these two as God is trying to follow up his Part 'the spirit' he put in Man during creation. this is something he did with love en 4 the purpose of man worshiping him.
Now satan rebelled en confusing, lying, destroying God's plan.
SO THE CONFUSION IS ALL AROUND THERE.
THERE IS GOD, OK. EN THE ONLY WAY TO GOD IS THRU JESUS CHRIST. HE (GOD) IS THE HOLY OF HOLY AND CAN BE APPROACHED BY SINFUL MAN UNLESS WASHED BY JESUS' BLOOD. for more details u can email me.

The best way to answer that is just to say that people are close minded. Some are raised from birth being told that this is their path and others lead only to damnation. There are also people who go out looking for something, and find it in religion. I'm not saying anything bad, since religion has it's uses, but I don't think that with a religion you're going to get as much out of it as you would being more spiritual. Religion is too rigid mostly to let people find their own path to the powers that be.

many people think spirituality equals christianity. they are sadly mistaken. As a Pagan i still do rituals. The rituals i do are to awaken the kundalini though. i feel that the ritual aspect is to make the religious people feel that they are doing something instead of meaningless gobbledygook. On why people think thier way is right thier own religious books say something and they take it way too far. Usally its because they have a big head full of Ego.
I usually do rituals for meditation or protection spells. People dont realize what spirituality is or means. I think this poem from a good friend of mine covers it.
A religious man goes to church, and sits
impatiently and day dreaming of fishing. A spiritual
man goes fishing, and day dreams of God. Religion runs
on guilt, fear, sin and is mind driven. Spiritualism
runs on truth, peace, and joy, and is Heart driven.
Spiritualism is a life style religion is a learned
from a book and folk lore you're born spiritual!!!!

Spirituality is not an easy path to tread. Whereas, there is a some sense of security offered by religious preachers in adherence to rituals. And the religious preachers themselves seek their own security in retaining a number of followers. A mere mutual benefit scheme, nothing more. When science advances, so also does reasoning prowess. So learned ones start asking uncomfortable questions. Again, due to the very nature of spiritual path, very few among such questioners care or dare to go beyond, and start intensely looking deeper for themselves. A guide can help here(as always has been !).

Religion is a tool to attain a spirituality. Many people do not know this. Even they know it they are not willing to accept it. any reasons can be attributed to this. As religion is an outcome of ones background. Its rituals are influenced by culture, geographical locations and religion one practices. Spirituality tells you to look beyond all this. Thus, to practice spirituality one has to really broaden his/her ideas. The reason people do not go beyond religious rituals as they feel loosing their identity and loosing social acceptance. Thus, in short I do not want to sound negative but people will remain like that and always will be more ritualistic than being spiritual.

i think most people are not strong enough to just enjoy the spiritual matter we are... people need rites and rituals just as much as a psychic needs a crystal ball to gaze in, its just a thing to help you with 'your thing' when you are not strong enough... i personally can gaze into a bunny for seeing things or even gaze into nothing... my personal opinion is that any religion is a religion and everybody has the right to practice whatever religion they choose, this is not better or worse then my religion and it doesnt matter to me what people choose... by the way, im a wiccan ;)

It might be unlawful for the medical professional to instantly be given cash from the pharmaceutical corporation. If you already know this sort of factor is going on, file it in your state scientific board. Added: Just for the list, medical professionals get presents from each pharmaceutical corporation. There are limits at the values as good. There isn't any potential to deciding on one drug over the opposite and even supposing it have been simply presents, that might violate the regulation in all states.

Part of religion is to not question their authority. If you question the church/temple or whatever, then it's considered heresy. You should study memetics and learn more about the origins of religions. Since I gave up religiosity, I've been so much more happy. I have no guilt, not fear of hell, retribution or anything religion related. As to your other question, it's purely arrogance that makes them say "their way or hell" :)

I think that only religious persons can understand spirituality better and when they understand it properly then they give regards to all religions but they cannot go back.

its easier to take a religion that pre packaged and done for you than it is to be spiritual and do some work for it. the reason for that is Ego many people think it gives thier religion credibility but all it does is make them look hateful and intolerant.
