Around the world today, and indeed at any point in history, people are torturing, abusing and killing animals for either profit, 'sport' or 'entertainment'. Will we ever reach a point where animals are considered worthy to be treated well?

Why do (some) people insist on putting animals through so much pain? When will it end??

I know the old testament rules that Moses wrote for the Hebrew nation condemned it, as it did masterbation and cooking meat and milk together. I want to know where it says in the new testament that it's a sin. My understanding is that Christ released us from the old testament rules when he died for our sins. My understanding from Christ's words is that the big 10 are the rules to live by (first 4 being man's relationship to God and the last 6 being Man's relationship to man). I would like to know where in the bible it says it....

It seems like it will happen soon... this century I hope. Less than a hundred years ago a majority of Christian churches including the Southern Baptist convention still supported segregation and Jim Crowe laws. It was considered an abomination for a mixed race couple to marry and have children, and fifty years before that slavery and disallowing negroes from having marriages or living together as families was justified and sanctified by scripture from some of the same books and letters that modern day Christians use to marginalize and villify homosexuals. How much longer do we have to graciously tolerate and forgive your spiritual blindness and bigotry guys? Ten, twenty years? Another century, a few more millenia? Oh, who cares. It doesn't really matter in the end. God can do anything.

Their websites are run by foreigners only registered in USA ,people working in their country are foreigners and people born there are lazy dumb a.ss just relying on the benefit and take away the money of people who are working hard and pay their taxes..And later on blame the same people as outsiders..get a life and get a job rather than just being racist to people and just collecting benefit.
And those reiligious fantics who havent got anything to do other than spreading hate about other religion and countries...what good will be done with that.

I was in a financial crisis this week and was forced to visit a food pantry at one of the local churches. They staff there were pleasent and eager to help me out through this ituation by offering food and anything else I needed pretty much. So when i get to the house I noticed a few of the canne goods that were given to me were expired at the longest since May. Also the cookies that they gave to me were also expired again at the longest since May. Should I just throw out all the expired food or just eat it and shut up?

Six months ago, my old roommate was dating a girl & happy. I've since moved. We spoke last night, & he admitted to being bisexual, but not wanting to be. I told him that whichever way he goes; I'm still his friend...but I could hear his frustration...his confusion...his fear. What else could I have done? He admitted to being really stressed out 'cuz he doesn't like this part of himself. Help!

I had this dream :
I was at what appeared to be a seaside and there was a huge cliff standing high above sea level. I saw people running along the top and jumping from the edge of the cliff into the sea. My sister and her fiance were telling me not to do it but i ran past them to a girl that was standing at the edge of the cliff ready to jump. She was going to do the jump with me. I didn't recognise this girl but i knew she was a friend. I grabbed her hand and We ran to the edge and i looked down quickly and the drop was massive. Before i knew it we had jumped. I could feel myself falling and felt scared. I had closed my eyes during the descent at first, but opened them mid air to see this girl still holding my hand looking at me smiling as we dropped. We fell into the sea then swam up and out of the water laughing.

Anyone have any thoughts??

My fravorate animal is the wolf. I'm curious because I think that people may choose the animal that they see the most and then decide based on charictoristics of the animal in question. I had a hard time choosing the wolf because I once chose the black panther and also every time I learn sometihing new about an animal I gain respect for it making me question what animal I like over and over again. I think also that by ansking this question I can understand more why this is so confusing for me.

It has always been possible to divide and rule what is essentially a resolute, strong and spiritual race. Materialism, hypocrisy, lack of candour and conceit, have always been our downfall, right back to the days when it was possible for Europeans to exchange our brothers and sisters for a few beads and a mirror. Can you argue against these facts?
