it depends on what type of restaurant, if youre talking more of a diner or fast-food/cheaper restaurant then go for it with your fingers...a higher class one probably wouldn't serve up chicken legs, you're more likley to get a breast..possibly a thigh in some french restaurants...but yes, eat those with your fork.

By all means use your fingers if it's fried chicken. Make sure you wash your hands though. I'd even do it in expensive restaurants. Just keep a napkin around it can get greasy. By the way it taste better eating with the hands and less trouble. If you're of Super high mannerisms then by all means use a knife and fork.

before answering that question, let me say this. YOU ARE LUCKY ENOUGH TO EAT CHICKEN IN A RESTAURANT because Im sure there are more than a million people out there who also want to have a chicken in a resto but cant afford to buy one.
secondly, a restaurant is a place to SATISFY your HUNGER, not the eyes of the narrow-minded public.
Lastly, it really doesnt matter if you eat using a fork, a spoon, with fingers or knife. what matters is you get our of the restaurant ith a happy tummy.
right?

Depends.
Some high society restaurants kinda like expect you, not only to use forks and other utensils, but also to use them "properly". If you eat in KFC here in Singapore, they dont have forks and the plastic spoons are for some things else. Back in Philippines they have this restaurant called "Kamayan", where they expect you to use your hands when eating. You can ask for fork and spoons or chopsticks, but you'll be the odd one out.

When you got doubt , we r not ne and the same as the scriptures says we r born human beings the image of the God. We light the Candle for the God by the fingers like lighters and match box. God has given us hand with fingers to use them in a proper way, and to use in a hygeinic way. Not the modern world use with the fork and the spoon. U wahs ur *** with your hand s not with spoon and the fork.

There are some restaurants where you shouldn't use your hands, so it's good to practice and get used to using cutleries 'the right way' even though you won't use them all the time. There is a saying that goes "if you are in france, behave like a french and if you are in Japan, behave like a japanese". let it not be said about you that you can take someone out of the slums, but you can not take the slum out of someone. Besides eating gives an impression, so it also depends on the person who you are with or persons around you.

Depends on the restaurant. If it's KFC, fingers away. If it's a classier place, fork is the way to go.

In a 'sit-down' restaurant I would eat with utensils... the only exceptions maybe french fries and sandwiches, they are really meant to be picked up by fingers. If you're just in a super casual place though, like KFC or Kenny Rogers Roasters, go ahead and use your fingers.

I rarely eat anything with my fingers! I would prefer a fork.

If I think it's a finger food than its a finger food and that is how I am going to eat it regardless of where I am. In some restaurants it is acceptable but in others you might get a few glares. They can't stop you though and its better to be who you are than to be a drone destined to mimic those around you for fear of a few glares.
