It's a test people. You suffer but still believe in GOD for hope. That hope comes when you die. You go to heaven and see no suffering and also get to see GOD too.

Mankind turned away from God saying they don't need him, make a mess of the earth and cause suffering and then rexpect God to fix everything and stop the suffering that he is not responsible for he gets put on him yet he is expected to just help no matter how disrespectful man is toward God they think they can just expect him to fix all things without getting any respect they want and they want it on their terms well that's just not on what gives man the right to try to tell God what to do?And tell him how he feels or doesn't feel since they have no idea! The third world countries troubles, are not caused by God He provides enough food for all there is enough on Earth to feed all the population the problem is mankind's distribution of it and greed The third world deaths from starvation goes on because of mankind not God! The time is coming shortly, though when God will intervene in Man's affairs an he will stop all the suffering andwill cleanse all the misery fron this world but that time is yet to come

Exactly, where is he. I try to be calm when I see the trite responses that 'christians' use to these answers. He gives them (the starving children) strength to endure. He will do it when the time is right. Their suffering is caused through their choices. I try not to get angry when I respond but the glibness and lack of caring makes it very difficult.
WAKE UP. There is no valid reason why a god would let innocent, helpless children suffer, there is NO excuse. A god that lets this happen is a vindictive, uncaring god, not the loving one that you preach about.
You people say that you have a personal relationship with Christ, ask him why he and his dad let innocents suffer. It is not right, it is not fair and it is not excusable.

where is god when people suffer?
--------------------------------------------
He is watching.
Suffering is not God's doing. It is peoples.
It is very easy to combat people's suffering if we,together, decided to help. There is NO for people to die out of hunger when some people get multitudes of billions that do not know how to spend.
One painting has been bought for 25 millions dollars recently to hang on his wall. These 25 millions could easily feed a whole poor nation for a year.
Each rich family must adapt a poor family in Africa or Asia. It will cost only peanuts off their leftovers.
God is watching and waiting for his creature to help others. He is giving us the time and the chance, let us take it.

It's a big mistake to think that God should relieve all the injustice and pain in this world, - at this time.
There's a time that is coming, when God will do this. In the meantime, he's looking for his believers to stand up and make a difference, - in the same way Jesus does.

Because sin entered the world and with it human suffering. Much of that suffering is caused by our choices. Other times the suffering is permitted not caused mind you, so that people may manifest the love and compassion of God.

so you are trying to say that god should save all...nobody should suffer...noone dies...noone hurts...okay...(ironically saying then there will be no need for god)
you must have known paramacium...a microscopic organism...it reproduces asexually...in a very short time it splits into two and become two organisms. If not even one paramasium die, in one year all of the organisms will make a ball which will be twice the size of the earth...now tell me do you want God save them all???

God is there itself. He hasn't run away. Those who seek Him will find him.
Don't you think those of you who are in the so called 1st world have a responsibility toward those in the 3rd, instead of blaming it on God?

Those people in 3rd world countries must not be praying enough...He would be there if they just prayed hard enough...right? But then again, God is everywhere. Just not there, at that moment. What about tomorrow?
