I'm interested to know the wording of YOUR bible. Many already know what this is, but please humor me. I want to see the exact wording from YOUR bible.

Here's the verse: Matthew 7:12. If you know it by heart, please humor me and respond by writing it DIRECTLY from your bible, word-for-word. Please.

The reason I ask for this is that, as I've just discovered while responding to another question, different bibles have different ways of presenting and even interpreting verses. There is no "standard" format for all bibles. So, if that's the case, I simply wanted to find a very basic verse and find out how different the verse reads, depending on what version of the bible you have.

I learned 2 main lines are cathoric and protestant when I was in my country (which is mainly buddist). After I came to America,I met some cathoric or baptists people, but I have never met protestant people, and I am little comfused... Is that true the two main lines are cathoric and protestant, or the textbook was wrong??????

I think it's a cop-out to cut and paste scripture for an answer to a question.
Can't people think for themselves and actually write an opinion based on their knowledge of scripture instead of slamming scripture in your face without any thought behind it?

I was reading another question that asked if Catholics were Christians, and someone answered "no" because Catholics believe Jesus (PBUH) was born in winter when in reality his birthdate when never mentioned in the real bible.

Can someone help me out? I'm just confused.
