Am I removing the paper from tin cans (before recycling them) for nothing? What happens to cans that have the paper still on? Are they recycled, thrown away or treated in some way?

This sounds like there's more than one. What do you think, and more importantly...WHY DO YOU THINK THAT? I don't want any lame answer like, "There's only one God" without explanation.

In a sentence? Like if he says that he likes you very much but wants to take it slow and that you are his "cariño"? If it is a man saying it to a woman, he also tells this woman "te quiero mucho" and kisses her and holds her hand.

there were hundreds or even thousands of people who claimed to be "from heavan" or a "higher power" and they were all crusified by the romans (or at least the ones that were) why do we just accept that jesus christ is who he says he is? Many people were torchered, many were shunned, and even today we have thousands of people who claim to "speak to god" yet we just call all of them CRAZY? If you believe in god as many of you probably do, when your walking down the street and you see "that guy" shouting about god and jesus do you believe him or do you think " that guy is insane". Why should we believe that jesus wasn't just crazy?

Consider the mathmatical probability of THIS exact sperm cell coming into contact with THAT exact egg cell at THIS certain time and those small cells growing to evenually become what you are today. We are all winners of the Great Lottery of Life.

I know it's difficult to accept that everything we are is simply a result of Random Chance and Circumstantial Luck, but it's Arrogant and Vain to assume that we were all individually created out of sheer intent of a higher power and put here only to prove ourselves worthy of entry into Heaven.

We have all overcome almost unimaginable odds in order to be here. Let us saviour what we have instead of diminishing it by asking "why" and "is this all there is".

I'm just curious cause I talk to a person who is Christian on IM and asked if she would read any atheist or evolutionist websites or books, just to get information, and she said no she never would. I'm curious if this is cause shes just a young person and no one told her it was ok to do this, or if no one ever will tell her its ok.

Since I'm an agnostic, and an evolutionist, I read the BIble and the Qu'ran, but have no intention of becoming a Christian or a Muslim, but still read these books.

I also read books about religion. I read a book that talked about problems with the New Testement and how its been changed through the centuries. I read a book that talks about the problems with the Qu'ran and modern day Islam.

Why are atheists and the like so grumpy ? They blame me for things " christians " did 100s of years ago. They call the Lord the vilest names and sexual remarks about the most holy things about Him. You would think they would say, " geez...I need a chill pill ...Im all upset about something I dont even believe in ". Do atheists believe in freedom of speech? If they dont like us saying Jesus things then they simply dont have to read them. Go somewhere else and chat. This is " religious chat " guys. I received an invitation to attend the 25th reunion of my high school class. I was teased a lot in high school and it went beyond name calling, etc. I had food thrown at me and damage done to my parents home. A rumor was also spread about me and drug use that school administrators believed. I did not find true friends until I joined the Navy which led to me staying in for 20 years.
Now after 25 years and because my siblings who live in my home state gave away my address my classmates who abused me through high school want me to join them. I probably won't go as I live in California and the flight will be expensive. I am thinking about writing a letter to my class letting them know how their abuse affected me and asking them not to include me in any future class activities. I also think about going just to boast about the fact I am retired military and that I married a beautiful woman (There were also rumors that I was gay). Thanks in advance for the help.
