i masturbated and watched porn and afterwards i have alot of guilt and i really beat myself up about doing it because i dont want to do it anymore. how can i get rid of the guilt and become a better christian again because i know what i did was wrong but i gave in to tempteation and urges but all i want to do is become a better christian and now i feel like everything is going to go downhill from now on and that bad stuff will happen to me because of the terrible thing i did and i just want to feel better, move on and never do it again. please help. ( this is a serious question so serious answers please)

I thought that taking a wife, that is 'nikka' to a woman for the purpose of sex as in one night or even one month was against the sharia law. If it is against sharia law then how could an imam nikka them (and to not just one but many different women)knowing what it is for?
