I would feel GOOD about it! I know it is a positive remark. :)

1) Know that you are under the age of 25.

2) Relating to me that you had a very high opinion of the something you were referring to; that it was so wonderful that it was sinful to behold, like to forbidden fruit in the Garden of Eden.

3) Reaction would vary depending on what my relationship to you.

If I gave birth to you, I would cringe internally as it would either be something that is going to cost me a lot of money, interfere with my T.V. viewing, injure you, cause my outlay for medical bills and/or insurance rates to skyrocket or a combination or all of the above.

If you were my friend, friend of the family or an acquaintance, interpret the meaning to be #2 above and be thankful that I did not give birth to you, as outlined in the reasons also stated above.

If you were my employee, I would advise you in the future that was not appropriate business language and to instead refer to the "something" as "outstanding" or "excellent" and that "wickedly awesome" ranks right in there in with calling the customers "dude", "babe", "bro", or "cuz". Is much better to err on the side of being conservative and when it doubt if it is appropriate, ask yourself "Is this something I would say to or around my Grandma?"

If I was dating or married to you, I would assume I was either Demi Moore or Cher.

I think "wickedly awesome" sounds better. I'd think you were young and didn't have a fully developed sense of yourself yet, like most young people and that you succumbed to cliche phrases which is typical.

Don't worry though. The fact that you are even concerned with how you come across indicates that maturation is on the near horizon!

Having become impervious to colloquialisms, if it were 'wicked awesome' I'd probably agree with you.
