a statement or representation published without just cause and tending to expose another to public contempt.. Defamation of another person by written or representational means. The publication of blasphemous, treasonable, seditious, or obscene writings or pictures.
Tort= a wrong done
It is a tort, (tort= wrongful act for which a civil action may lie)which means it is actionable and may be countered with a lawsuit
