There appears to be 2 things going on in this question? How to break a friends heart....if at all possible...don't. If you must tell them something be sure you are prepared to lose a friend. When you want to reciprocate a nicety done...give from the heart. It will tell you what your friend wants.

ask your friend what she likes to do the most. what ever she answers as her most favourable past time...you do that with her. she will love it.
