They are all hyprocrits as they will tell you there is one god but if there is only one, then why do they pray to the saints as lesser gods and why do they still have the holy trinity?

Here are three short excerpts from the Nicene creed, which summarize what entities Christians worship:
We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty
Maker of heaven and earth, of all that is seen and unseen.
We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ,
the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father,
God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God,
begotten, not made, one in Being with the Father.
Through him all things were made.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the Giver of Life,
Who proceeds from the Father and the Son
With the Father and the Son he is worshipped and glorified
(Different Christian denominations will disagree with different parts of the Creed, but I think they'll all pretty much agree on the parts excerpted above. The rest of the Creed talks about specific doings, and about the Catholic church specifically. The parts above are general, though.)
From that, you see that Christians worship three different facets of God: God as the Hebrews worship Him - the omnipotent creator of all things, Christ as God's embodiment on Earth, and the Holy Spirit which is like the force or will that carries out God's doings.
Interestingly, the first of those three is the same God that is worshipped by most mainstream religions in the world today. He is the same God that Jews worship, he is the same God that Muslims worship, he's the same God as most anybody worships unless they are following a pre-Jewish faith like Wicca.
That is where the saying comes from, "There is but one God."
The difference is that Christians believe that Christ was the embodiment of God here on Earth. Most Jews will tell you that Christ was a revered prophet, but was not God. Other religions will say that Christ wasn't even a prophet. Still other people will say that Christ himself was a fabrication and no such man even existed.
The Holy Spirit is a little harder to define. It is through the Holy Spirit that miracles occur. I honestly know very little of what other religions think of the Holy Spirit. I think it pre-dates Christianity, and so if I had to guess I would guess that Jews have the same concept but they may have a different name for it. I have no idea if Muslims and other religions have the concept.
So anyway, those are the three facets of God that Christians worship. But they are not three separate things - they are three parts of the same Holy Trinity.
St. Patrick is famous for his way of describing it while in Ireland: Look at a three leaf clover. It has three leaves, but they are all part of the same plant. If you break a leaf off and consider it separately, you are no longer looking at a three-leaf clover - you are just looking at a leaf. Only as a whole can it be said to be a three leaf clover, even though the leaves can be examined separately.

They believe in one God - they are monotheists - however this God can be known in three ways, and there are three parts to it:
Father
Son
Holy Spirit
This idea is set out in the Apostles Creed. One of the 10 Commandments says: "Do not worship any God but me."
Also the bible says The Lord - The Father etc etc etc - If there was more than 1 it would say A Lord, or Father number 2.

We just believe in the one God. We know that he is so "awesome" that he has shown us the three parts of himself: The Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit.

They believe on one, who happens to be three, but is still one ... Oh well, think about it like a butter knife: it has a front and a back and a .... OK, cancel that ... OK, I got it ...think of it like H2O, it can be water, ice, steam, plasma (oops, one too many, never mind) . Think of it like a triangle. It has three sides, and an area, and a perimeter, and a height, and a base. Aw c'mon! You know what I mean!
