I was young and ignorant, it was miserable. I am older now, more experienced, I have a better idea of what to expect from a situation and feel much better able to be prepared for the unforeseen.
With enlightenment has come some pain, as preconceptions were destroyed, but the satisfaction I have derived from being able to help others is priceless, and on a day to day basis I am quite happy regardless of how adverse the circumstances become.
I agree with you, there is bliss that I would have never known had I chosen to remain ignorant.

no it wouldn't. ignorance in the since that you can't function in a mental state, so that you can't make religious choices or even if they are wrong or right choices in this day and age i pitty the people that are because there are a many a perverted and sick people out there that would mess with or look down on the people thus revealing that person's true side. so i would probably choose to be ignorant if i could keep the family i have now. so if you think about it ignorance is bliss because you can't rationalize if things are right or not. and you would keep your innocence.

It's more a mentality of the mind thing. If you didn't know something Psychologically, it would never bother you therefor it would create bliss, or less stress of your own mind.

well if you would piss yourself and keep pissingy our self, someone would eventually help you out, whether its take you to the physiciatric hospital or whatever, but eventually you would be having someone else wipe your a** and do things FOR YO U, therefore, yes itll be blissful...
but i think you have to think of what your question is as , for example, "UFOS" i mean, the governmetn hasnt imformed us of any kind....think about what people will do if the gov. confirmed UFO's existed........................CHAOS...........therefore, ingorance is BLISS
