In my opinion, there is never Honor in Killing! Some cultures believe that a family member, especially women, have shamed them so much, they can never return to public life, and hold their head up again! In a way to appease the public, they kill the offender! Even a sister that has been raped, is a target for an Honor killing! It is actual madness, that seems to date back to ancient times, as a sacrifice!

honor killing happens mostly in pakistan.there when a girl becomes pregnant without marriage, to save the honor of the family and the girl, the girl"s father or brother kills her and the fetus. it is a crime but in pakistan it is happening rapidly. the government is trying to stop it with rules but public awareness is needed.

Honor killing is when a child or sibling is killed for bringing disgrace to the family. It is very common amongst Muslim Arabs when a girl is caught sleeping with a man prior to the wedding. (But its OK for the man in their culture).

it's killing someone who has brought shame to your family and a way to restore your honor. There are some sick, twisted people out there.

honor killing is soemthing that originates from south east asian and middle eastern countries.it is the killing of a girl who has sex outside of marriage.this pratice is cultural and not religious.in india for example many girls of all religions(muslim,christian,hindu) have been murdered for so called honor
