Does anyone think the media has WAY too much infuence on people? And I'm NOT just talking about teenagers and kids. The same goes for adults. These days I think the difference between children and being a "mature" adult is a very small margin. . . very small. The media seem's like a new religion. From Dr. Phil. sex and the city, the house wives ect.

What do you think, does the media have to much influence?

Is being cynical something to be proud of or not somethig to be proud? I feel being cynical keep me on my toes. Always looking out and analyzing what I see and hear. I'm not cynical to the point where I'm rude and mean to people!

But what do you think, being a cynical person something to proud of or not?

I kind of hate phrase! Most of the people who I hear say that. Well, to be honest. . . there talking about nothing but sex. Really. . . that's we have going? Pfffff! come on. I would like to beileve this life a lot more to offer then meaning flings and one stands. Are we that empty? Is that really life at its fullest?
No matter what, people are always gonna have regrets about something. You can say you won't but that's a lie. How can you not?! Every choice you made your gonan be proud of?Especailly in todays' society. We live in such a shallow, over implusive age.

Are we really living life to its fullest? Or just stealing from it and taking as much we can. Not really knowing anything about this life we've been given?

I personally hate that statement. It's just so generic to me. I understand what they're trying to say. . . But I can't stand it. Overrated statement to me.

Thoughts?

The documentaries I've seen about Jail, makes it seem like a decent place. You get fed, you get to socialize and you get to spend time reading, writing, playing on the computer.

I don't mean to be coy, but as long as your prison mates like you, isn't it more or less like a social club?

What are some of the beneifits and not so benefits, of being a quit person or an non-social person? Introvert if you want. I am one of those kinds of people. I feel for the pro's: Reflection! thinking, processing. The mind is just always going. Since I'm always by myself, my thought are all I really have. So I'm always processing the thing around me. Society and life. What I see and hear.

Now for the con's: Over thinking. I do that a lot. Which then leads to being cynical. Even though I kind of ok with that. Also if I do meet people, I'm no good at all.

But all in all, I'm glad I'm keep to myself person.

What are you thoughts on the topic?
