look into their eyes, if they can't look into your eyes or have to look away or answer your question with a question, good indication they are lying.

As the others said, people have trouble looking you straight in the eye, there eyes also tend to look upwards & to the left.
They may also swallow a lot more (there's Monica & Clinton again!!! - sorry about that one) and sweat, though how you can tell this just by looking at someone takes a better man than me!

Like what others said, wandering eyes and trembling voice or uneasiness are good indication though not to consistent liars.
Also, try asking a question abt the matter in a natural tone. Then try to follow up and follow up and follow up. If he/she ends up raising his/her voice, it's an indication of lying, especially when you surprised the person with the question. Observe the answers to your questions. Most of the time there are loop holes.

The first answer is a good one. The eyes are the window to the soul.
Also, if there is hesatation, nervousness, or a known good reason to try to lie out of a problem.
Remember Clinton when he looked away from the camera when he said "I did not have sex with that woman(Monica)"

sometimes you can but sometimes its not easy to some of them are used to it and don't make any strange moves. for instance, not eye contact or eyes movin all over when they are talking to you and not trying to make contact is a pure sign or something you know they are saying about someone or something that is so unreal you have hard time believeing it well its probably a lie. take care.

Eyes dart to the right, I believe. Maybe it's to the left. But eyes tend to dart.
