I would ban the advertisement of junk food on TV during children's viewing hours, and I would ban a few ads with pretty much naked women in them.
I'd stop the glamorisation of pretty much prostitutes in video clips. I'm nt saying I'd become a compLete censor, but that's what springs to mind when you asked that.
It would better society because it would reduce obesity (don't argue those ads have no effects and parents are only to blame, I may not allow my family to junk food most of the time, but that doesn't mean they don't have added prestige due to those ads). And make women feel better about themselves, hopefully also stopping this new anorexia/bulimia fad just a little.

There is not one thing that would fix all that is wrong now. There are a few things that would help. First, we must get the population under control. Put a limit on the number of babies people can have. Restrict that to maried couples as well who can prove they have a stable enviroment and financial ability to raise that child- maybe make a two baby limit. Second, eliminate a federal gvt. Let the states run themselves. Third, relax alot of the laws in this country and provide citizens with more personal responsibility. Third, free health care for all legal citizens. Fourth, cut all immigration for an undetermined length of time. Let no one else in until the population is reduced to a manageable level. Beyond that, there is more that can be fixed, but that is where to start.

there are quiet a few that need some changing. first of all the jailsystem. they are given too many priviledges especially the gang members are let to run and that is wrong. there is also social security that needs to be fixed and the one that started the entire thing would be the best judge hes still alive also. medical for entire people that one someone should come up with soemthing good for all even the doctors. this one i am not quite sure but the money parts of it has to change and the way people sue all the time has to be changed. if you are doing your best and not scapegoating etc...

Society is doing exactly what it was designed to do. If you want a better/different one you are going to design it from the ground up. A mere policy change is a waste of time.

Legalize marujuana and tax the sale of it. Crime rates would go way down and government revenues would go way up. People who need it for pain relief wouldn't have to break the law to get some relief. Then I would make the sale of alcohol illigal. Alcohol kills more people than pot.
