I have answered this question so many times!!!!Racism is taught through ignorance, fear and hate.Racists have self hatred. Plus people fear and hate differences instead of embracing them. People fear what they do not understand or can't explain. They are deflecting their self hatred and the need to feel superior over someone else.By making someone feel lower about themselves then they become powerful in their own mind. When people have hatred in their hearts toward others they hate themselves. "Like an unchecked cancer, hate corrodes the personality and eats away its vital unity. Hate destroys a man's sense of values and his objectivity. It causes him to describe the beautiful as ugly and the ugly as beautiful, and to confuse the true with the false and the false with the true.
Nothing in all the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity.Let no man pull you low enough to hate him."

You have to realize, alot of white people from the 60s and before that were raised to dislike other races. Not all whites, most alot of them. They were raised to dislike gays, blacks ect. Now that things have changed in government, no longer allowing such thoughts, many may think their belief system is turned upside down. Do they beleive what their parents taught them, or was their upbringing all a lie, or is todays teachings all a lie? It can be very confusing to some I think.

I KNOW that just as many George Jeffersons exist as do Archie Bunkers. For that matter, George may be exceeding Archie, at this point!!!

AND the Hispanic gentlemen who both George and Archie would not allow into their community--is right up there alongside the two of them.

This is not meant to be a joke--I see it on a daily basis--it's outrageous in this day and age!!!

I know that a racist comes in all colours.
He/she is a bit of a dummy ,because he/she do not understand that a baby born does not pick his /her own colour.
This is all the fault on the parents.!!
So what racist do ,they blame the person.they see Look around and find out that educated people are not prejudice because they do understand this process.
A racist is afraid ,because they do not know enough of the other race and culture. They feel therefore uncomfortable. That's why.

Racism exists as a means of one group to acquire and maintain forms of power they acknowledge they would not otherwise be able to have. It becomes ingrained in the thinking of that group to provide for the continuation of that disparity of power. They teach their children to not acknowledge these thoughts and actions, to allow future generations to escape the moral critique that acknowledgment would require.

But as society progresses, increasing numbers of the children of racists begin to reevaluate the thinking and conduct of their parents and the generations before them. The result is an eventual departure from the systemic effects of racism. But now, we are seeing another form of it rising under the flags of "national security", which is largely just a form of disguise for racism.

Racism is mostly a convention of societal laziness. Slave owners of every society have used slavery as a means to escape the rigors of maintaining their society, by placing the burden of it on those for whom they declare unworthy of their social benefits. The very term, "jobs that no one else wants to do", is specifically an affirmation of social injustice. To declare that the "greater society" should be free from the responsibilities of self-maintenance. Inequalities in justice of all forms will not occur until every member of every society is fully responsible for their participation in that society.

Where do you live? What ethnicity are you?

That has a lot to do with how people experience or view racism.

If you're black, maybe you encounter a lot of white racists because of where you live or go to school or work or whatever.

Racism is a mental and social disease that occurs in all tribes and societies that are infested with sanctified subjective-thinking. The more feeble-minded and subjectively a person forms his or her world view, the more mental and social disease there is in that person's community or society, trouble such as religious fundamentalism, nationalism, fascism, conservatism, sexism. and racism. It is "safer" for the dominating segment of any such infested society, in this case Whites, to more openly express themselves without fear of punishment. But, feeble-minded humans of all melanin skin levels are susceptible to this disease.

It really depends on were you live and the economy in the area can play a big part in that.

You also need to remember that it is your experience and not a fact.
