In the American TV show "Desperate Housewives", one of the characters underestimated the ability of Filipino doctors and those who graduated in the medical schools in the Philippines.

I don't watch desperate housewives. But I wouldn't take it
personally. It is just acting and however they may stereotype or portray a character is not really serious . So it doesn't need to be taken offence by,as it is just one persons version.
I would just watch it with a knowledge that I know how they really are and accept that it was only a television programme.
If however it was a real life documentry, then maybe I'd be a little annoyed!!
