Hi folks,
I understand they thoughts of my children, neices & nephew.
But although being freindly,I do not understand some of the convoluted stuff I hear from my elders.

I am approaching 52, and would like to think that I can now draw upon decades of life experience in many departments.
Social, technical, artistic, etc.

Some folks are as bright as the proverbial button at 90, some fade into meaningless chatter.
Perhaps they were always like that.

This is directed at all ages, as many a teenager has a grasp, as do the most elderly.

So am I correct in thinking it may be a genetic/attitude/up-bringing/talent/educational type thing in general ?

What's the difference between and free society and a wreckless society? Arguably we are a free society. But we can also arguably, be called a wreckless one, because were so free. And being wreckless can lead to a lot of problems. As I'm sure we can see today and throughout history. . .

So really, what's the difference between the two?

When I express what I see as my own personal opinion, I am often told "don't judge". Yet when others express their opinions, they say "I have a right to my opinion."

What's the difference? Any distinction?

I remember seeing a tv show about female sexual infidelity and the frequency of children being brought up by men who were not their biological fathers - much of the time without the 'father' being aware.

It was sobering stuff for men and slightly embarrasing for women.

The claims being made by the program, were based on the findings of a scientific study. I can't remember the name of the study. Can anyone help me?

Aren't what other people do in their lives apart of your business in an indirect way? Let's say someone get's drunk at a club and decides to take to wheel and get on the road. The same road you're driving on comin' from work. Isn't that your business all of a sudden? A few minutes ago this person going to a club and havin' a good time, was non of concern, nor should it have been. But my has that changed in an instant. This person is your buisness now. That guy having an affair with your wife and on his. Now that guy's life has impacted yours! A complete stranger who's life you had no business with a day or 2 ago has so much ifluence. Him havin' a good marriage probably would have benefited you a lot more. But now. . .

Really in many ways what strangers are doing their life, do kind effect you some how. Maybe not all of the time, but many of the times. So saying it's non of your buisness. . in many ways is it not?

I keep hearing "If you're over thirty, and you want to get married, you have to marry somebody with children !" . Would EVERYBODY make a good stepparent ? Aren't there people who shouldn't have children ? Children don't have to obey somebody's rules if they don't want to, and they don't want to . I'd have to have my rules obeyed and respected, and children aren't obedient and respectful . If Mom has a new husband, Dad has a new wife, and everybody's making rules for the children, isn't that "too many cooks in the kitchen ?" .

I was just reading a book and there was a line that said " Age dosen't bring wisdom. My grandad said some lose their 'moral compass" as they get older." The person who said that line was a kid adressing a ruthless war lord. He going on about how young people are foolish and when he get's older he'll realize that there is no such thing as right and wrong. Good or evil. It's what you do and don't do. I kind of agree with Bosky. The name of the kid. As people get older they are corrupted by the world. Whether it be sex, money. power ect. So I kind of agree. . .

What do you think?

The name of the is JOHN CONSTANTINE HELLBALZER: SUBTERRANEAN

Good read!
