do you belive that men shoudl still be paying for dates, opening doors for women, pulling out the chairs for women... ext.... or is that over with and woman can open doors themselves ( these senarios are for such as out on dates..or even for married couples anywhere you go.. should they)

Dose the media reflect who we are as a society? I feel it kind of dose. Some might not agree. But I think its more like a fun-house-mirrior reflection. Really over-done, over sized. But its still us. Underneath all that glamour. Anyone agree or disagree?

What is it called when a person makes up and circulates injurious lies about another when his intention is to COVER UP HIS OWN MISBEHAVIOR? I caught the boss's secretary stealing commission sales for herself on the telephone at work. The next thing I knew i was fired for supposedly making advances to her. In another case, a competitive salesperson in the same department where I worked was stealing from myself and the other employeees, voiding their sales and claiming them for herself. When I discovered it, she went to Human Resources and also, accused me of sexual misconduct. In both instances I was immediately fired without recourse. I know there is a process for "termination without cause" -- but that is not my question.

Another, broader example of what I'm talking about might be the Unnited States government's pretense that there were "Weapons of Mass Destruction" in order to justify the invasion of Iraq, it's labeling of all the dead in Vietnam as "Vietcong" -- etc.

Hey there folks! I was in into the R&S last night and think I lost a little bit of my soul! that is the most depressing place I've ever been.

So I thought I'd start off the day on a possitive note. HOW ARE YOU DOIN'? ARE YOU DOIN' ALRIGHT? I myself am gonna be celebrating a birthday on tuesday. Turning 21! not go out clubbing or get or stuff like that. Not my thing! But what about you? anything important coming up?

I'm looking for things like oppression, greed, attention...
When people are oppressed by their governments, they rebel.
When people want power, they start a rebellion and take over...

What are some other motives for rebellion? or what is the motivation behind a rebel? What could they be fighting for? and what is the cause?

I have to analyze the impact of television on kids and adolescence, and i need other people's opinion on it. Are the shows that kids/teens watch on t.v. a great impact and influence on their socialization? Does t.v. really take a big role in molding teens/kids personality and world skills?

The "bully" has, in my opinion, changed. I don't think there are very many of the stereotypical bullies anymore, the kind that would beat you up just for your milk money. I think bullies nowadays are actually the popular kids, who aren't the kind who fight you, just make you feel bad and who pick on the less popular kids.
