Poets are often times idealist rather than realist. I should know, I am a poet. They may spend their lives pursuing their idealistic dreams and fantasies, hoping to one day be so appreciated by their society for their remarkable gift rather than getting real, and seeking a degree/career in something that the high class societies appreciate, such as in the sciences. Poets and other artist play a major role in the wellness of "elite societies." But many are under appreciated for their great contributions. That's why many public education institutions place more emphasis on the sciences rather than the arts. It's just the era that we are living in, this era needs an art appreciation awakening.

i think you meant poverty...so...Growing up in poverty limits an individuals life chances because they lack the necessities needed to get out of poverty. They don't have much money, so they probably won't go to school. Some may drop out of high school to get a job to help take care of their familiy.

I'm gonna assume you mean poverty, although I imagine growing up in poetry would be pretty traumatic too.

Can't you think your way through this question? Its not that hard.

rhyming all the time and speaking in meter is very stressful.

Because it's the mathematicians and scientist that can make a living, not a starving musician or poet.
