The "bully" has, in my opinion, changed. I don't think there are very many of the stereotypical bullies anymore, the kind that would beat you up just for your milk money. I think bullies nowadays are actually the popular kids, who aren't the kind who fight you, just make you feel bad and who pick on the less popular kids.

I agree, the meanest kids at my school are also the most popular. Though there isn't a whole lot of bullying (at least that I know of) it's usually always by the popular kids.

If you're going to be a bully, at least be funny...like Nelson and Jimbo from The Simpsons. Emotional bullying is worse because it's harder to pick out and reinforce against. Bullies have polar types of confidence- either they're really insecure or have incredibly inflated egos.

not necessarily the most popular kid but the most insecure kid. bullies terrorize others because they feel small and they want something to make them feel bigger than others. but youre right about them not always beating you up most of the time they do it psychologically.

For me it has left the realm of physical bullying and entered the realm of psychological bullying. They don't take your milk money any more, they take your soul.

totally agree. they not only exist in schools, they can be in work places, and even at home. and unfortunately, they're the popular & successful ones.
