First, don't assume you can tell a person's age from their answer.
Secondly, anyone above 13 can post here.
Most importantly, read the Guidelines for using this site. Notice that not answering the question is a violation.
Whenever you see any violation of the Guidelines or Terms of Service, use Report It. That way, people will learn to not give non-answers to real questions.
Interestingly enough, I've seen a lot of questions that have a "serious answers only" clause. In my experience, those questions do, in fact, tend to get only serious answers. You wouldn't think that would work, but it seems to.

Lighten up. Anyway I am nearly 64 and still learning, and young people can teach us all something - why should there be this stupid barrier. Yes some of the questions from the youngsters are naive but some of the questions and answers from so called adults are little short of obscene, racially biased, and all sorts of unpalatable things, hadn't they be better off looking to themselves for their own badly needed in some cases improvement and showing the kids how grown up, decent and sensible adults conduct themselves?, and what is wrong with some frivolity and humour of the nice kind eh - you tell me that???

we all have a right to answer no matter, age or gender. Some of the older people do give answers that doesn't make sense or discriminate or that are insulting.
Some young people don't understand some situations or stuff or issues, some aren't educated about it but some do take social problems seriously.

I think we need to have diverse answers and questions and even though they may be frivolous they will learn through other people and their sensible answers.

Teenagers surf the net, what can I say? Being ignorant of other people's feelings is what a lot of immature kids like to do. I myself am fourteen, but I like to believe that I leave relatively helpful answers. I guess it's just the way it is.
Adults leave silly responses to questions on here too though.
My advice is just to ignore them...although I understand how irritating it can be.

I'd guess off hand that the majority of people on here are teens or even younger. Just accept that their answers are based on the experiences of their age and move on.

Cos they are young and that's what youth is all about. They will soon enter the 'real world' and post questions like you or I.

'Young,' it may not be an actual 'age,' but more a sign of 'youth' ~ as in naivety / ignorance / insensitivity / lack of awareness / lack of maturity / the inability to form meaningful strings of thought / a lack of volcabulary / inability to empathise / poor cognitivity ....etc etc ~ and or any combination of those and more.
