There's everything on there that's on the Internet or connections to it. Don't let the kids convince you otherwise. That's good and bad. We have to learn to deal with everything and Disney doesn't do it, but it can make you or break you. I have no idea were questions on here are coming from so I don't know how to get info to anonymous people, but teaching the kids Emotional Intelligence and emotions in general will make them well armed with all else you have, of course. I think you can sense the truth of that although the mind always second guesses truth and ignores it and so the plight today. Sense, common sense, intuition, gut reaction, those are all our sources for insight as the brain uses pictures that don't lie in it's thinking and compares millions of them for inaccuracy. The images on TV and the net aren't too good, sometimes and manipulators and avertisers are well aware that they can talk directly to the subconscious so be better had to.

Its easy for a website like MySpace of FaceBook to have a huge influence over teens. People have always talked about the negative effects of peer pressure in a highschool and MySpace like websites are just a larger delivery system of peer pressure from all over the country; not just in a high school. There are more people to look a your profile and judge you, movies and music that are all over the website; adds for more adult oriented products or sites in the side bars. Peer pressure can influence all sorts of things like what they choose to do, act, or who they become. Thats why Myspace has to much influence.
