I am this way, and even though I'm very nice and have excellent manners, I don't see any sort of personality beyond that.

I was raised in this kind of environment, so my siblings are the same way. Hell, my brother sits in his room and is always depressed since he thinks the world is going to end in 2012. We all have social anxiety too from my parents, so that doesn't help much either.

??????????????????????????????????

Just because you seem to have a charisma impairment doesn't mean all cynical/pessimistic people do. And since you are aware of the fact you are apparently a limp dish rag, why not do something about it?

Psychology is the better subject although today every science is making so many relevant break throughs. It's relatively easy to fix if you're willing to do a few things. Don't laugh, few peope are. You can check out the stuff under my profile. I could hardly tell you everything here. although maybe because this one fact is so powerful. It has to be developed though. It can open the door and your intuition can lead you rest of the way, I think.
Emotions control the mind. Ideas reprogram the mind. They've got us down as not being free since two or three. Until now, all that left was drugs. It seems word choice controls the mind and using only positive and non judgmental words will reprogram it. Just look at the words of those around you. I inherited that vocabulary also. It doesn't work. Judgmental words prejudge and never look closely enough. Descriptive words always look and never judge, just get the facts. Judgments are what we already think. Facts are what we need, to see something else. The subconscious makes no assumptions, but the facts speak for themselves, as one wit put it. Oh, yeah, you might start ryhming a little like that. It's that your in sync with life and can relate to the brain, other people and ideas. I like to think of that as social relativety as you relate things better. They are saying genius is a mindset. There you go, What could be easier. Need any help, communicate. I put my best understandings on my website //hbar12.bravehost.com.
Enjoy. Pass it on. Maybe we can change the world, one mind at a time the same as how a good joke can go around the world in all languages and this has been a pretty good joke on mankind.

Yeah, I am that way. Its just you have to find ways to take it out and make fun of it. Those outlets are what make a personality. Hell, even the most cynical person has to take a step back every once in a while for a good laugh at how bad things really are.

How sad!! pessimism is a choice and if you chose to stay on the bottom how can you ever find a pot at the end of the rainbow? What reward do you expect to gain for wallowing in self pity and negativity? Personality???? not unless you change your attitude. YOu must have something hidden in there that is dying to get out. Explore your inner self and find some other outlet to get rid of your cynicism

So that is your personality. But it's your reality so you can develop whatever personality you want.
