I've heard that if you cry about your problems, it will just make you more of a cryer, and you will do it more often. I've also heard that if you cry, it is "healthy" for you, and you will do it less often. Which is it?

I keep alot of my emotions and feelings bottled up. I was beat as a child. Now whenever someone I'm afraid of persay hits me, or holds some strong negative emotion of me, I get nervous, shaky, have a lump in my throat, and usually cry if it continues. I'm sick of it. What can I do?

Where I live, it seems like there is nothing but immature people who never have anything good to say. People are always saying smart comments and I never say anything back because they are the type of people who will get pissed off and key your car. I would love to put people in their place sometimes, but I don't because I fear what they might do. Does anybody else ever feel like that? what do you do? share your story....

My initial thought would be fear of success..but that isnt it. Having a comfortable life, losing it, and regaining it all and more and yet teeter on the edge of losing it all again. Any thoughts on this? During financial loss, there were several strong support systems. Is it laziness? How can a determined individual be lazy? Is it taking life for granted? I am exceptionally interested to hear feedback on this.

The serious mental disorder that is at the root of this ridiculous obsession with that Big Brother television show? I would like a professional opinion on this disturbed behaviour which is worming it's way through every corner of these pages. What on earth is wrong with the British people?. Is this a deficit disorder,obsessive compulsion or what ? It is a severe case of something dire for certain !

i sit here alone in my flat tonight like i do everynight despairing at the isolation and intense lonliness i feel. im desperatly struggling with psychological problems, (if you wanna no what, read my previous questions) im in torment with my mind, my mum told me we cant do nothing till you get your second opinion....i have no friends or girlfriend who i can talk to to keep me company...i keep looking in to the future wondering how my life is going to turn out, feeling like this lonliness is going to last forever...wondering will i be able to control my inner anger?? will i be able to get a happy life for myself? im simply alone with no one to turn to in a small flat and in my mind everyone else is having a great old time out there, laughing and giggling

This guy I know had given me one tutoring session, and he's always asking me if I would like to sign up for more, but I told him I was going through financail difficualty and couldn't so he offered me a follow up free sessions, he said he has that diecreation who he wants to give one too, so he seen me, and told me to call hm for the free follow up session, but I never did so he txt messaged me at night at 12:00 midnight asking me if I wanted to come in too see in for the tutoring session on tueday at 9 and I told him i let him know. but then he called me a few days later, out of the clear blue, but didn't leave a message, And I'm thinking didn't he tell me to let him know when I was available so why is he calling me?Can Anyone tell me what the deal is?Am I not communicating myself clearly enough?

I'm a college student and my chemistry lab partner says to this girl who asked him if he was John (me), and he says, "hell no!" I didn't know what to say.... I have never done anything to this guy, I don't know what his problem is. The next day in class he had the nerve to ask me if he could copy my homework! I wanted to say "no", but I thought to myself, "If I piss him off, he could seriously hurt my grade in the class because my teacher makes us hand in our tests, quizzes, labs, on this table and people are constantly going through them and doing what they please. I would have to wait until everyone turned in their test and he left before I would feel safe turning mine in." I feel like I was caught between a rock and a hard place. My grades are really important because I would like to go to professional school one day. What woud you have done? Thanks for your input!

hey, sometimes i feel like me and my twin sis are the only nostalgic people..like we love seeing christmas lights or candles on in people's windows, cats sitting on window ledges, and hearing from others who are far away when we are in school (like from my dad at work, or my grandma in the hospital)

This may seem weird to some people, but if anyone feels like this, write it. i wanna know who else is like this!!!

deeper than due to how thin models are in magazines. Something dark is going on with those that abuse themselves in this way & use it as a cry for help or attention. Just like cutting, self mutulation.

I used drugs for nine years and now two years clean, well I started smoking pot at the age of 13 and doing speed at the age of 21 I put a needle in my arm several times a day, daily! I use to say "It's not a drug unless it hurts" and hurting was the closest thing I knew of love, I know that many people felt the same way and few just liked the high. But really why do we like pain and destruction, we choose our relationship on the people we know that will hurt us we find disappointment in the one's that we love, is this type of behavior inbreeded in us or is this just a way of relief?

We find a new place with full of people, extrange people, totally ugly to our eyes, and almost like savages . ( at this case maybe in other planet )

Suppost you win some sort of beauty contest, then you have to move to a city that you don't know much people, but you are confortable cause your going there to do some science research .
This place is called ( monkey people ) all of them are not only wierd and ugly they are aneducated, they don't know how to behave, but they are almost people and You actually love them cause is part of your research and you see some good things on this transfer. so you have to live with them for a long period of time.
Off course probably you will have your team.
HOw would you interact with this wierdos???????other ideas are welcome too .
