This morning I called my mother (VERY rare for me to call her in the morning, before work) and during our conversation, we discovered we had both had eerily similar dreams. In her dream, she was in a flower shop, watching one of her co-workers cutting roses for a flower arrangement. She said there were peices of cut stems/leaves all over the table. In my dream, I was doing some work at a table, and left the room for a minute. When I came back, there were rose cuttings all over my work table, which annoyed me greatly. I haven't been able to find any info on the internet as to the meaning of our dreams, specifically. I did find out that withered roses signify the death or the parting or absence of loved ones. I had a scary thought that if withered roses symbolise death, maybe cut roses symbolise murder (or being "killed", as in a car accident). What makes this even more bizarre, is that at around 4am. a music box (that plays the song "Noel") started playing on it's own and woke me.

what drug do feel has the most negative affects on your community, family, friends whatever. In mine, I feel like it is meth. Crack is here, but not as strong as meth. I want to put effort into the demand and eliminate it completely. Therefore making the supply no longer needed. I want to help both sides. It is an evil cycle. What do u think?

i've looked everywhere for a name for my phobia, its just hot air balloons, not normal balloons, but it also includes those large telescopes such as the one at Jodrell Bank....... does anyone else have the same thing?? and does anyone know what it's called??

i can't believe there's a phobia for people scared of things on the left side of their body, but not for the phobia of hot air balloons!

I was reading about it and I tried the whole counting backwards from 100 followed by "i am dreaming" thing. I started to feel tingly and heavy all over, but the refrigerator snapped me out of it when it came on. I was just wondering if the fact that I felt that way meant it was working?

My daughter is 7... she has visited the principal 3 times since school has started and she has had in-school suspension. She is a compulsive liar and she compulsivly steals from classmates, teachers, stores, and money from me.... it is like if she wants it, she just takes it. I have contacted the behavioral health clinic here but i dont want to send her away from me to live to overcome this.. i know i dont always handle things the right way ( i had her when i was fairly young and i am fairly inexperianced) her dad and i split up 3 years ago and she has not had any contact with him since, he is also a compulsive liar is this a heriditary thing? I am totally at a loss.... i believe she has ADD as do her teachers, would ADD make her compulsive like this? PLEASE HELP

I responded to an obvious minor who asked a question on here about feeling depressed and then she added a comment saying she had considered jumping off of a roof.

I went into concerned-mom-overload and wrote an answer about urging her to talk to her mom, find a church official, a school counselor~ but cautioned her about mentioning thoughts of suicide, as this could bring unwanted ramifications.

I offered a suggestion and link to go to a suicide hot line, so she can talk through her feelings with someone and remain anonymous.

Today, she privately messaged me to say that~ oh, she's NOT suicidal or really depressed, she was just bored that day and then once she jumped off a roof onto some pillows.

I am feeling as though I could have inadvertently caused myself some legal trouble here? Somehow I feel as though I crossed some boundary trying to help a child? Why are there no guidelines on these forums, such as "must be 18 years or older to participate" ???

I had a dream about attempting to open my locker at school. Unable to do so, I kicked the locker in anger, forcing it open. Once it was open, I looked inside, and there was nothing there. I then shut the locker, but it just opened itself again. Still nothing inside. After I tried to shut it again (Where it simply opened up again), I woke up.

...What does this mean?

I’m 24 years old, and I have never been on a single date, and I would like to here from you why this might be. I would also like to know that I’m not the only one with this problem, because I really feel weird that I haven’t been on a single date yet. Do you think subconsciously I might just be waiting for the right girl. If so why do I think that way? Also am I the only one thinking this way, waiting for the right girl? I really hope I’m not the only one.

im 29,& i rely on her heavy for constant affirmation & reassurance,& if i fall out with here or she doesnt give me these things my moods always plummet, is it more of a dependancy thing?. i struggle with psychological problems & have done for 15 years, i used to explode with inner rage that was a big problem, but thats improved alot. i have very low self esteem. im tormented with racing thoughts all the time. my moods are constantly bleak & low. i live in a smalll flat by myself. i dont have any friends except my mum, and i have the constant feeling my life is just drifting & going nowhere...i cant work yet because of my problems, plus ive never worked, because of the long standing problems ive had. my mum comes to visit me at my flat,& cleans up for me & cooks me meals and gets my shopping, but i feel guilty, because i wonder if this is doing me any good....plus i ring her about 5 times a day telling her my worries& seeking reassurance that im going to be ok, that ill pull through

I was brought up in a protective environment in which my dad made sure I hardly made mistakes (of course I still at times). Now a wise friend of mine told me I ought to just practice and make mistakes and learn from them. Is it not a good idea to just try to learn purely from other people's mistakes (and/or successes)? Do people really think that you must make your own mistakes before you truly learn?
