I'm in my second last year at High School and I have an oral report for English to do in 4-5 weeks, and I'm pretty comfortable with the people in my English class, but I can't help but going red and shaking!

How can I stop feeling so bad about orals?

I don't think that I am depressed, i have friends who are and i don't have their severe symptoms. But even though i'm a normally really happy person it seems lately i have been really emotional- cying all the time-when i'm frustrated, when I'm irritable, happy, sad it doens't matter. I get very irritable when I'm at home with my family and i really don't know why but little things get to me and i seem to be getting mean and short with people. I know that stress can cause all this but I've also been thinking i'm fatigued but, i don't know how serious symptoms have to be in order to actually make a big deal out of all this I know that seems like a lot of ramble but any answers will help. Thanks!

Are you pleased with what you have become? Do You Have pride in yourself why you play Judge for a shift. Do you mark down who could be crazy and follow up on them? Or do you even care? Maybe you just like getting paid to explore the world of other people and all the things they have to say. WoW cool! Peace during War. 420 man is the clock still broken?

Ok, so me and my friend have an unresolved debate about one's self and self-esteem/worth. He claims that he has gotten to the point in his life where he feels as if he can love himself as if he was his own significant other (but he's not a cocky person, at the same time). Now my side of the argument is that one can't love themself to that extreme without being overly egotistical.

So, I want your opinion. Are we just blurring the lines between self-worth and egotism, or are they separable? And also, where do you draw the line between these two?

I know when I was a teenager I didh't think my parents knew anything, but as an adult, I have found that I learned a lot from my parents. I am wondering if most parents impart the same lessons or if the disparity in lessons is what could be a root cause of moral decay.

I have this presentation coming up in my class. Im so scared... I know I can't do it. Last year I had this oral presentation to do & it was with a group. As soon as I got up there I started to cry. It was so embarrassing. There was another time in my English course in which I had to read 2 lines from a play, and I vomited right in front of the class. In high school I had it so bad that I was scared to go in front of the class to collect a paper. I still get scared doing that. I have even passed out before. What is wrong with me? I don't think I will ever get over this.

Here's the scenario I experienced at work:

I had a man approach me at work (restaurant) asking me why I forgot to tell his server something. He came up to me rather nicely but with disappointment, glanced at my nametag and asked me by my name why I forgot to tell his server what I told him I would. I simply forgot because we're all human so I told him that he should of told his server. The man (way shorter than me, around his 50's) kept telling me that he was really disappointed with me, it almost turned into an argument. Then he says something like, "Listen *my name*, I'm a professor of Engineering at *insert college name here*". He says it out of the blues while he was trying to argue with me. Nothing was ever mentioned about education or occupation.

My question would be...is this man insecure or lacking confidence? Did he try and put himself over me? Is he holding his position and role in society over my substantially lower position (restaurant worker)? Is it my height? (i'm 6'2).

People always are concerned with the importance of understanding womens' emotional, psychological and intellectual needs and how to meet them. While I agree this is very important, why is it that there seems to be no concern with the way men feel and think? Is it simply this universally accepted notion that men are merely simple creatures that don't really need such understanding, compared to more sophisticated and complicated women? Men needing to understand their wives is always stressed, yet, it seems wives needing to understand their husbands isn't. Contrary to popular belief, masculine psychology is not only in need of studying, but it is both important to the health and happiness of both men and women- both, after all, are first and foremost human beings. Human beings that are supposed to work together. Why do you feel masculine psychology is seen as as both unimportant and unnecessary (or even non existant) in society, and what can we do to change this? Also, what are YOUR views

The most irrefutable finding is our demonstration that a father’s age is a major risk factor for schizophrenia. We were the first group to show that schizophrenia is linearly related to paternal age and that the risk is tripled for the offspring of the oldest groups of fathers.7 This finding has been born out in every single cohort study that has looked at paternal age and the risk for schizophrenia. The only other finding that has been as consistently replicated in schizophrenia research is that there is an increased risk associated with a family history of schizophrenia. Since only 10% to 15% of schizophrenia cases have a family history, family history does not explain much of the population risk for schizophrenia. However, we think that approximately one third or one quarter of all schizophrenia cases may be attributable to paternal age. http://www.primarypsychiatry.com/aspx/articledetail.aspx?articleid=494

Have you ever really stop to think that you are eventually going to die? Do you still believe that death is only for the elderly? Does your own demise seem like a long time coming? For me lately, death has been on my mind very constantly. It seems it is all i've thought about for the last couple of weeks or so.

Everytime i take a test (especially math), I tend to make careless error. I check my work and sometimes redo the problems over again but most of the times, I can't detect an error until after I hand in my test.

Also, I have a problem with taking math test. I tend to get nervous even though I understand all the concepts. Any help on mitigating this problem?

I don't get it. Are there that many trolls in this site?
I am tired of asking something and getting insulted for no good reason.

For example, I just posted a question about SERIAL KILLERS for entertainment, like which of them is worse. And I got insulted as hating people with mental illness. And guess what? I am mentally ill and so is my boyfreind. So that makes no sense.

I'm so tired of smart asses here :(

Who agrees?

Hopefully we all report them.

It hurts a lot to think and write my following note. My friend's brother is a alcohol addict, After consumption he turns into a virtual demon, fighting, abusing, screaming at all living beings even on his own mother and other members.. But when he's sober he is quite like a kitten. His behaviour and attitude is extremely negative and it enhances after drinking sessions.
If a psychologist, reads this question here, can you please advice us how to handle this situation?
