i think i have developed some bad personality traits. i lie. not big lies but little ones. and im very impatient and clingy. ive already either pushed away or distanced myself from some of my friends because of it.ie. if i send a text and they dont answer i keep sending them or i call them 9 times in a row. one time i called my friend 36 times. maybe its cause im manic depressive and bi-polar idk im tired of thinking of stupid excuses. i want to redirect my mind to reform my personality

Do you ever think about someone you really hurt in the past and as time as gone by, do you feel bad or feel you made a mistake and think how could you have done something so mean or horrible?
I know many say things happen for a reason, but for once, I feel people actually make mistakes! Does it take time for some people to realize. I always realize when I made a mistake and actually apologize sincerely to the person. Did you ever feel it and not apologize or feel to embarrased or ashamed?? Or did you show remorse even if it was later down the road???

I was in a track race or something either way I had to run alot. I wasnt running from anything in particular but I was running to come first. I was in the leed jumping over obstacles like pools. A few weeks ago I was grocery shopping, and a strange old man smiled at me. I smiled back. What else was I suppose to do. He somehow thought that ment that I liked him. He started following me around the grocery store, looking at the things I was looking at but not putting anything in his cart. He kept smiling at me.

Why would he do that?

I've had 2 real looking scary dreams in one night.
My first dream... It was night and I was looking out at the night sky. Then, I saw shooting stars and they looked beautiful but really close. As I kept watching, a giagantic meteor flies down crashing at a building a couple of miles from me. I started to run and then my dream splits into two parts and I don't remember them.

2nd Dream: I just remember that the place looked like a desert... and America was a myth. I think it was because of nukes.

I hope this doesn't come true and people told me dreams can come true. Is it possible for dreams like mine to come true?

here's my problem, i use to attend this school and i was always the good kid. but i got into some trouble... i was suspended for 10 days and i completely humiliated my mom and my school. my friends turned thier backs on me and i was forced to live off campus (it's a broading school).
i'm now at home and the past is in the past, but, i still have that sinking feeling in my stomach when ever i look at my yearbook and feel like i want to cry 4 i av messed up my life.And now i want to go to college and i need a reccomendation from the school, but i'm so afriad to ask for one. for i still see myself as the person they see me as and that is: "no good" wat should i do? my ques. is how do you get over the bad u have done and move on with your life? and please don't say therapy.

i saw an incredibly disturbing film and it is on my mind. i don't want to dream about it. i have found before that thinking about what is on my mind properly and 'deciding' not to dream about it works but i'm not so sure with this. any tips? i think burying it by concentrating on other things might even be a worse idea

We moved from our home in the south about a year ago..to a place that is almost 9000 ft higher and is a cold climate..We relocated for reasons that were not our fault.We put everything we had into this place thinking it would be a great place to live and well it probably is.In a year the first part was spent with many projects and putting this in and this at the property.That with moving and staying busy all the time we really didn't have time to think about much and the winter was very mild..with little snow here and there.This year the house is complete and we have stayed in alot..The weather is bitter cold and lots and lots of snow and more snow .We had the flu for a few weeks and found ourselves in bed for a few weeks,and its taken awhile to get our energy back but now we find its so cold all the time we rather lay in bed and some days have no control over just wanting to sleep.I worry about our life style and don't want to just stay in bed all the time.. cont below..

I'm just curious- the dream interpretation books I've seen go into great detail about what a given kind of person means when you meet them in a dream, but they don't say much about being this other kind of person.

I have always remembered my dreams in great detail, and I am almost never myself in my dreams. It is like being in a role-playing game or a book or movie- I have a character and a situation, and I have my own knowledge plus whatever the character knows, and I know what "fits" and what doesn't. I can change characters several times in the course of a dream, or be in third person watching the dream- most like a book, I think. I don't get to choose who to be, though.

There doesn't seem to be any particular limit on who I can be. I have been old, young, male, female, occasionally a fantasy creature or alien. The only limit seems to be that my mind can't simulate things I have no experience at all with- no frame of reference, so the dream goes all wonky and fake if I try.

Last night, I had a dream that one of my ex-boyfriends, Brett, and I were back together again... We ended our relationship about a year ago (it lasted for 2 or 3 months)... Our relationship wasn't a particularly great one, yet it took me for EVER to get over him...

I'm just very confused now. I ended up breaking up with Brett because he was kind of insecure (even though he was SOO gorgeous!)... I would always have to make the first move, etc... PLUS he openly flirted with other girls... But in this dream he was a true gentleman, sweet, caring, and he only had eyes for me...

What does this dream mean!?
